Scored his pen, and the keeper earned the red trying to stop him from scoring.
Deserved his motm last night
When I saw his free kick I thought it took a deflections first.

Looked like he hit the valve for that kind of swerve. Amazing.
What a great goal that is.
Watched it a few times, it's awesome.

The fallout at United continues - absolutely wonderful to watch.

Troy Deeney on why he hates Van Dijk.
He’s to big, to strong, to quick, to good on the ball and he smells nice.

Wilson just in case anyone hasn't seen it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure why footballers dont attempt this more often. Are they not tired of the predictable inswinger freekick?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its an insanely hard technique. The action and muscles used are all different.
Player of the season for us, so far.
Should win the player of the month award.
He should be first name on the team sheet next season
selfish goal from wilson, big shaq purposely missed his so salah could score a rebound
brilliant freekick though, saw people mention bale and ronaldo... pfft more like keisuke honda

I doubt you can even 'master' something like it. Ronaldo tried it for years and kept hitting the wall. Bale had some sort of winning formula going but even then it's not exactly a high hit rate.
good angle this

Makes it look simple doesnt he. Check his balance out as he strikes it.
Looks like he quickly shifts his weight to his right just before he snaps his leg for the kick.
His head is still over the ball but yeah all the weight is on his right. I reckon Id snap my achillies or sommat.
Kids will be trying that all weekend. Mind ya windows!
I remember Bale also saying that your body needs to be over the ball.
You got to have incredibly long levers to create power that way.
Up and over still the most effective method in my eyes. You won't see many freekicks like that go in this season but when someone pulls it off you have to just sit and applaud.
Isn't Ronaldo's conversion rate at freekicks so poor? He scored a worldie against Spain though in the last minute at the World Cup if I remember rightly but hadn't scored for like the million attempts before that though.
Roberto Carlos had about a 2% hit rate.
