interesting analysis via the BBC on Klopp vs Pep and their teams.

The logic of Natalie Pike was flawed, cant pick Salah as he isn't as good as last season yet can pick KDB despite him not playing at all this season

She was a bit thick. Typical ex model. Bet she was supporting United the last decade before moving to City.
Great article on Klopp v Pep. Much better than the usual crap spouted on the BBC such as this morning's "imagine if men had a 9pm curfew" article full of anti-men twitter posts
My joint City - LFC team.

Had to go Fabinho over Fernandinho due to potential. Needed a more solid player in there with KDB and Silva.
Just seen the Karius howler
Hilarious how crap he is.
Only Van Dijk is a guaranteed starter in that City side.

Alisson over Ederson for me.
Maybe...we still need to see more of Alisson.
We're probably the only team that made Ederson look pants as well.

He's a great keeper but Alisson looks better to me, so far anyway.
But he's Brazil's number 1 for a reason.
Only KDB and Silva would get in our team.

Who wants to use this to wum?
That BBC article is good and it's confirmed what I was most worried about this coming Sunday. The key difference in prior games against City, the midfield got the ball and got forward very quickly, mostly through Ox. Without him our midfield is solid but not quick at all, and on top of that our front three are looking a little disjointed.
Obviously hope it all clicks on Sunday but I'm more nervous than I was last year.

17 goal FA Youth cup match.
12 goals in the second half
7-2 down with 28 minutes to go, but win it 9-8.
Hope someone in the far east made a load of cash on that one

You just ruined my morning hard on
We'll setup the midfield to make decoy runs or position themselves in such a way that there's a route for our defence to hit the forwards directly. Basically the same tactics that brought us so much joy against Roma and the same tactics we've been using since the PSG game.
The only difference between is City will push high up the pitch unlike PSG, Chelsea (to an extent) & Napoli.
Klopp presser -
Klopp: "The most important job of football is entertaining people. We don't save lives, we don't plant anything, create anything, do surgery. We only play football l, so why can't we entertain? We have to try to create constantly, and Pep's team are the best at that."
Klopp on Salah.
"Expectation has changed, that's normal. He set a completely new standard last year. It was a nice surprise. 98% of a striker is the hardest work, only 2% is easy. The questions around Mo have changed. If I lose three in a row, people think I have no clue!"
Klopp: "We won the last 3 games v City. After these games, you don't go into the dressing room and think 'now we've got it, now we know how to beat them!" because there's not one thing. You need a team with outstanding character, ready to be brave. If you work hard, you earn it."
Klopp: "It's about the greed to respond. It's a very intense period, and we played against very demanding teams the last few weeks. So it's quite difficult to make plenty of changes. We know we can do better, and for the weekend we know we have to better. That's all."
Klopp: "I didn't want to lose v Napoli but if you ask me what the best preparation is, mood-wise, it is losing a game. We felt it, and we don't want that feeling again."
Klopp: "It's a home game against Man City, they are all tough. Even the 3-0 in the CL was tough, the 4-3 they were really good. They had won 67 games in a row, that's how it felt! They never gave up and we had to score exceptional goals to win. Even at 4-1 they never gave up."
"Ox is not to be replaced, that is key. I cannot think about him at the moment unfortunately. It's nice that you mention it because it shows how important it was, and shows him how desperate we are to have him around."
Oh and Lallana back in full training
Lallana the afterthought.
his career is done with us
I wouldn’t put Kompany in there
Klopp said in possession we felt too pressured when there wasn't pressure.
Sums up our midfield.
I hope kieta plays this weekend, I'm thinking it could be a breakthrough game for him.
He likes to attack from midfield and take players on, we need this against city.
