Good on you Kash, in this day and age there is no need for those who can use a computer for their work to be in the office every single facking day.
No need whatsoever.
Let me know what kind of work you’re in, could do with some of that.

That's surely not right.
And no, in Kent these days, train ticket costs 4500 pounds a year . Considering that's out of taxed income, the payrise by moving out of London alone is staggering.

^and that’s with me actually choosing the times, the cheapest ticket type is the anytime return.
Fk that I won’t be commuting in that way. You could have 3 nights in a decent hotel and drive for cheaper than that.

Top man.
Guess you can Zoom/dial in to listen to their concerns and offer solutions in minutes rather than travelling for a couple of hours there, then back before sorting out what they need
yeah I was paying 5000 for my last season
Stopped about 15 months ago
It is an utter joke how expensive it is and there are no government incentives at all to use it.
If it were up to me, I'd make the cost of travel to work incumbent on the employer to pay. See how many companies magically come up with a way to allow flexible working then...

I DO live in wiltshire and this is the FIrst great western train services and it doesnt surprise me in the slightest,
It costs me £20 to get a return to bath (30 min straight journey) And £14 to get to salisbury (20 min straight journey)
To get to london on a direct train from where i am is £150 roughly, We were looking at using one for a weekend out in london last year, visit a few sites etc.
instead we drove to bristol (£10 of fuel there and back)
Park the car at the airport (£20)
Fly to geneva (£15 ticket each, £8 for one hold luggage)
Take a train ride across switzerland (3 day all travel pass £50 each)
Then we spent £80 a night on two nights in geneva and two nights in lucerne)
£150 to get to/from london vs £480 to travel all over switerland for four days. including up two mountains

Just looked it up and there's a bunch of Essex place n names too, namely Billerica(y) and Chelmsford.
Crazy. It's £20 for a return ticket from Belfast to Dublin.

Aye, Andover is 20 minutes away, Salisbury a mile down the road. I live in Essex county.
Salisbury is a bit of a $hithole tbh. Full of red necks, tattoo parlors and the odd strip club.
Saying that, they do have a marijuana store, so it’s not all bad
I wasn't a fan of our Salisbury tbh!
