We lost because Tottenham left their losers aura in the changing room we had to use last night, I watch them paranormal programmes so can appreciate how such things can happen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Frustrating night last night, gonna be a real tough second leg now.
Good chance we turn it around at home but also a good chance we go out if they pinch an away goal.
Hope we play a strong team against Chelsea in the FA cup now, otherwise we're in danger of having close to two and a half months at the end of the season with nothing to play for
I'm confident the team and Klopp would've learnt from last night. Hopefully he bangs that angry drum again and we actually bully them in the return leg. It's the only way I see us winning.

Nothing we ain't seen before in Europe. They will park bus but we will have too much for them at Anfield.
It says a lot about how amazing we've been for 2 years now that a 1-0 loss away to Atletico Madrid has led to so many rival fans on here creaming their knickers
Who did we play in the KO stages in Europe that really parked the bus at Anfield?
Bayern has great shape and pressed well but I wouldn't say they parked the bus. Porto was done in the away leg the first time and the second time around that early goal from Keita settled it almost immediately.
Early goal and I'm more confident but as it drags on Anfield will get nervous...not sure how these players will respond.

My favourite is that idiot Ruud Gullit describing VVD's performance as a "nightmare".
Yeah, a couple of misplaced headers in the first 10 mins or so, a nightmare This is it what its come to. Levels.

Insert lost his undefeated streak as well. It's over for us
Since Liverpool and PSG lost last night in the Champions League, there's only one team in Europe's top 5 leagues still unbeaten in 2020- Arsenal FC
It's over lads. Just hand Arsenal the title now.

Same way we have in plenty of games this season, grinding out the result we need.
No worries about the 2nd leg, we will get through with ease. It'll be a drab watch sure but confident we will stick 3 or 4 past them.
They are not that good when all's said and done.

Fred we aren't playing PL defences here. This is a Simeone side.

And liverpool fans to be fair. Nothing happened last night that wasn't expected. Some people predicted 0-3 ffs. A team that has never lost a home game in a knock out CL game. This tie was always going to be tough. Nothing has changed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah last night was exactly why I didn't want us to get them in the draw because they're like Napoli on steroids.

I think 4 is a bit adventurous Fred even 3 may be tough.
If they score it could be a long tough evening.

It's just 1-0. They are not going to score again. We just need to be clinical and better service from full backs is a must and now we know Mane is fackin pisssed. They have messed with the wrong guy.

But they just aren't that good a team. We had a really poor night last night yet they could only score 1.
They didn't capitalise on us having a very rare poor performance, they had the crowd behind them and that was clearly swaying the ref.
In the return leg, it's Anfield under the lights and we are the best team on the planet, I think we will score early, and then they'll actually have to attack.
I think it'll be comfortable.

Agree entirely, but confident we will get it.
Be nice to see Salah playing at his best as he's been fairly subdued recently.
I'd play 4-2-3-1 and have Shaqiri or Minamino up there with SMF, I'd also play either Keita or Chambo in midfield.
It's not a night for Fabinho, Hendo, Wijnaldum.

Think we'll win but think you're being optimistic saying we'll hammer them 3/4-0. They haven't conceded more than 2 goals in any game this season, including CL and cup games.
