Great that City's owners scheduled tonight's game in preparation for what they have to do for the next 2 years. You just have to tip your hat to that kind of proactive thinking.

if we look back over the past 20 years isnt it only like 2 strong teams per year (that actually had a chance at winning it)

Yeah sick of it as well, particularly when the only evidence the idiots have got is "because I say so".
Literally the only way to measure the strength of the league relatively is how to assess how its teams perform in the CL. We've had 3 of the 4 finalists from the two years.
Then the absolute morons say its because European football is weaker too
