The main criticism was the safety of his passing, better movement means he'll play more adventurous passes rather than recycle.
----
That might have been the main criticism but is only one of many areas where his game has improved.

I don't think he's doing anything differently. I think those around him are better, offer better movement and so on.
The main criticism was the safety of his passing, better movement means he'll play more adventurous passes rather than recycle.
He's doing the same stuff Imo but there we go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's his position that is allowing that though. Even at our worst we still had plenty of players that had pace, made runs had good movement. Maybe not to the level we have now but it's not as if he was playing with Benteke the whole time he has been here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure what this changes.
I'm happy to discuss what specifically he is doing better now in the context of the positions he playing and when. We could look at loads of stuff. The passing quality is still the same when the opportunity arises, his work rate is the same, his off the ball work is the same, his touch is the same, he's still rammal at finishing in the box.
What exactly is he doing so much better to validate the swing in criticism to priase from many on here because I don't see it.
Worth noting his plantar fascitis has cleared up.

Is he playing better than in 2014? Not to my mind.

He was great in 2014 actually, a huge miss after he was sent off against City.
But that was his best spell with us until now, what about the other 7 or 8 years.

He absolutely is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He got 7 goals, 9 assits, played 36 games, had an 82% passing completion in 2014.
I felt if he had not been suspended at the end we may well have won the league.

Sorry that was 2015.
2014 was 4 goals, 7 assists and an 87% passing completion.

Finally they were enacting lock downs before the reached the number of infections we likely have.
---------------
I agree with all you say bar this bit. I don't think that is true at all. I think that when China had the numbers we currently have, there were practically zero measures in place.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They were locking down Wuhan, you are confusing the idea that they didn't release information to the public with the idea they were inactive.
In China they test people's temperatures all over the place now, deep clean areas of infection etc, Italy too have been way more proactive than we have.
Our prime Minister said yesterday we might just "take it on the chin.." and today isn't being tested despite a high likelihood that he's going to have contracted it!
People here won't accept even temporary loss of their liberties, a royal mail delivery office near me has had 15 go sick over three days with flu like symptoms and their bosses were trying to convince them to come in anyway.

Seems to me he plays better when his heel is not about to rupture and that's about it.

I like Hendo now but he has not always been this good. He was rightly criticised in the past and now rightly he is to be praised.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True, however he was always wrong criticised by people who couldn't see what type of player he was. He was made a scapegoat, some Liverpool fans thought he was awful and some rival fans thought he was hilarious. It's true that he has improved and it's now impossible for anybody to criticise his quality but he had a few good seasons when people were criticising regardless.
I thought his form started dropping in the deeper role, as it wasn't his natural position and when moved forward for Fabinho he was excellent. However he was even better when Fabinho was out injured and he had to drop back in again.
It is all about experience and improving with age. I watched Virgil at Groningen and Willem 2 and he made schoolboy errors when he was 20 years old.
Good professional players improve with time when they work hard on their game. His positioning and passing between the lines has improved. He is also one of the best crossers in the team.
Weinstein gets 23 years.
Didn't expect that tbh, in fact I thought he'd get away with it.

He needed to go away, he was the reason for #metoo and needed to be seen to be punished.
Hope he gets fecked raw over his Zimmer frame.
