Yeah feels crap, just like the morning after Riise scored the own goal v Chelsea.
Nah this was Karius feckin things up bad.
Been a long time since we've been knocked out in European competition.
I don't like it.
I hate Atletico so much, always seem to get the better of us it feels like even if we hammer on the door all game.
Front three were dreadful, Salah was lively but kept making the wrong decision, Mane was anonymous, Firmino was on ketamin. Even his goal required a huge slice of luck.
Spoke to my friend who's an arsenal fan who said it reminded him of the invincibles season which ended in a bit of a damp squib.
This season could and perhaps should have been legendary but we'd have all ripped your arm off at the start to win the PL and go out in every other competition.
Just got to hope that Coronavirus doesn't fack that up.
Merseyside derby set to be played behind closed doors. Helps us more than them.

You will all be glad to know i nabbed the last pack of toilet roll at morrisons
enriched with lotion and calming lavender..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We're down to our last roll. Like why are people stockpiling toilet roll?
Bloody imbeciles.
One guy from the wife's office said he had 46 packets. When she asked why, he replied that everybody else was stockpiling them. Bloody sheep.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It makes sense from a technical point, no warehouse or supermarket stores much toilet paper.. Its bulky and worth little, it all rely on just in time ordering.
So it's naturally one of the first things to stop arriving on shelves when large numbers of people are off sick.. Its precautionary stockpiling and makes sense, I will certainly be picking up more now I've read about the supply chain
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? If nobody stockpiled it's available for everybody. I've never seen shops run out of toilet paper. Absolutely ridiculous.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, available for everyone now, but potentially a far worse rush for it as supply chains weaken if people weren't stockpiling, ive got 11 rolls now, buy a pack a week usually, ill pick up two packs a week now if possible to give a months buffer over the next 4 weeks.
Same with beans, same with other perishables, its not just about being able to sustain yourself during a quarantine, when 1/6th less food is arriving to supermarkets most of us will feel it (me less so, because we grow so much at home.) pretty badly.
I dont condone the panic buying, but given the modeling of how this plays out, it would be foolish to not get a few extra items in that you will use anyway.. (tinned tuna, beans, rice etc) a couple of items extra per shop might make all the difference, and if you never need it, it's cash saved down the line..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolute nonsense.
There is absolutely no need to stockpile anything. It's just selfish. I mean all anybody has to do, in the event of worst case scenario is use an online company.
An online company? Who are also losing 1/6th of its workers, packers, loaders, delivery drivers, route planners, IT support staff, vehicle maintenance workers and will be getting double the orders from people like yourself?
Meanwhile all their supply chains are losing 1/6th of their capacity too.
Im going to stick to the opinions of the experts and the Modelling of how this plays out, if you want to be utterly complacent and not take even minor step to ensure you slowly double your supply of canned goods while the capacity is there for ALL to do so (at a sensible rate) then thats completely up to you and your family.
I will say it again, panic buying 6 packs of toilet rolls is insanity, picking up a few extra items a week to be prepared for a 2 week quarantine isnt, its sensible. WHO has declared a pandemic, the government are looking to move to the next phase of containment, and its likely schools will be closed till after Easter in the next week or two.
Home delivery drivers will probably be even worse affected as morons call them to deliver to their house while sick

Yes. So don't stockpile everything from the shops and in the very unlikely event that the shop runs out, use an online company for a couple of days until they restock.
Absolutely ridiculous to stockpile toilet paper. Selfish idiotic people.

No, you are saying dont stockpile anything, and if you get quarantied due to sick, you can just call some poor minumum wage person to come to your door and interact with you,
Thats utterly ludicrous and entirely symptomatic of why we wont be able to contain this in the way that china has, because we all have the right to be angry at those preparing sensibly, and the compacency to believe that its okay because the internet has everything and will save us
I can guarantee the first places they will stop delivering to will be rural areas like mine! All companies will cut less profitable areas first.
TOOR is doing that thing he used to do...where he argues with someone while agreeing with them lol

No - that's not what I'm saying at all.
I'm saying don't be a selfish pri ck and stockpile stuff as there is simply no need to and it just proves you're an imbecile. Yes, buy a little extra if you need to but we aren't anywhere near that point yet.
I'm saying if nobody stockpiled toilet paper, we wouldn't run out and in the unlikely event we did, we could order online, for the few days it takes shops to restock.
Can we go back to dissecting last night?
https://twitter.com/profRoys/status/1238016161628983297
this is a great explanation of exponential growth and the curve this infection is on globally, and from 7 minutes in it shows why people with complacent attitudes, and those who seek to go still to cheltenham and football games are likely to be responsible for millions of deaths.
Fred i get the feeling you in particular might like this.
Stockpiling is sensible precaution that anyone should take, and anyone with a family not taking is stupid, Supermarkets wont restock within days if this thing keeps growing like it is. And you wont be buying it online, the staff to man the infrastructue WONT BE THERE.
Hoarding is the issue, if you have more than a months supply, particularly of things like soap, you are increasing the risk of infection because we need herd immunity
