Our town was like a ghost town yesterday.
Governor of MA has requested all bars and restaurants closed, no gatherings of more than 25, schools closed. I’m working from home.
It’s all very surreal.

Was like a ghost town in Belfast also apart from when the selfish crazies attacked the supermarkets.
Pubs are close to closing also

If you're like me robbing, a healthy young individual I don't think we should do too much differently.
I am avoiding contact with any vulnerable member of society wherever possible, won't see my grandparents for a few months no doubt which I'm quite sad about at their age.
But for example the dog day care company we use are suffering hugely because nobody needs their dog looked after when working from home, so we've continued to give them our business whilst we are both at home.
So so many people will suffer because of this and not just because of the virus.
Having a great time today winding up the leader of our work FF. He no longer works here and I've told him that it's void.
He just sent an angry text to the guy who collects to money etc asking for his money back, who told him he drank the money.
Thing is I work with nurses and support workers (or my colleagues do the latter) so if they come into the office the chance of transfer, regardless of my own health, is high and the they go out to care for the elderly.
I think it's pretty irresponsible of my employer in some ways but money, money, money. We do ask people not to come in but if they need to hand in their time sheets in order to get paid then what's their alternative.
It's all going to get a lot worse yet anyway.

Don't have the infrastructure to do it, we've argued for years that business continuity would be stronger if the possibility to WFH existed - but we have desktops and landline style phones so no flexibility in location.
All they've done is set up a new office and moved about 150 of 500 members of staff there, but it's still in Central London!
Can't they just use office 365? It's pretty simple infrastructure and you can log in from anywhere.
