Even the goal he was caught wrong side which is why he didn't make an attempt to challenge Ings or clear the ball, although I'll sympathise and say he probably reacted late due to the ball floating over another defenders head, he still shouldn't have been wrong side of Ings.

I thought the same thing about the goal and him not reacting due to the other player, which would have made the goal offside no?
Yesterday put me in an absolutely foul mood I have to say. Such a frustrating game yet again, ended up watching the second half on my phone whilst on warzone as I didn't want to waste any more of time on it.
Klopp for once was actually quite to the point in his interviews. Actually admitted how poor we were, how slow we were and it was a refreshing change to the 'perfect performance' rubbish.
Upcoming fixtures after the cup game are:
United (h)
Burnley (h)
Spurs (a)
West Ham (a)
Brighton (h)
Man City (h)
Leicester (a)
Everton (h)
A lot of very tough fixtures there which will make or break or season. Will firmly know by the end of it whether we are still in the race for the title or in a battle for top four. The way we are playing currently, I'd expect the latter.

I'm not sure if he would have been offside, but first rule of defending at schoolboy level is goalside or the right side of the defender, Ings just managed to run on the inside of him and he couldn't recover. Really poor defending.

I think we just thought we had a easy festive fixture list and title was a formality after beating Palace 7-0.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I think this too. Just a bit of complacency, we know the team are capable.
Definitely need some rotations but can't at the moment, though it's weird that Minamino didn't get another look-in after Palace

Wouldn't have been offside as Henderson played everyone onside in the middle
Henderson seemed to be the odd 2/3 yards deeper than everyone else, probably a consequence of being out of position as well. Didn't come to much at the time, but it could have done.

It's mad that I'm most worried about West Ham away based on our current form this season
Hendo allowed himself to be pushed by Armstrong which took him deeper and put Ings on side. We don't get free kicks for fouls anymore.
Morning trannies.
Well yesterday was a bit $hit.
Could’ve been worse though. Could’ve lost in fantasy H2H because I captained Mane instead of absolutely anyone else.
Isn’t that right toor? Isn’t it toor? Toor? Toor? Isn’t that right? Wouldn’t it have be n a worse day if this had happened? Toor?
These 38 misplaced passes from Trent. Does anyone have a more detailed stat? Is it counting crossing and corners?

Sounds worse than it is. A lot were those whipped balls in behind for Salah etc to run on to. Having said that, he was still poor last night
Yeah thats what I was arguing with a guy at work. He claimed it was his passing. Trent role in the team is to find that impossible ball at times. Sky coming out with some dubious stats.
He was poor still and lucky Djenpo went of injured because he had Trent on toast.
Almost every pass he played down the line to Salah was overhit, he had a very poor game.
Djenepo is a player I really like though I must admit. His g/a stats aren't great currently but I think that will change over time.
Alright, I’ve got a full day ahead of being buried in spreadsheets. Someone keep me entertained.
Who done the “name the player” thing yesterday? Metro? Step up your game ffs.
Here’s an easy one one. Who’s the legend?
Baník Ostrava, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Lyon
, Portsmouth (loan), Galatasaray, Baník Ostrava, Antalyaspor, Baník Ostrava, Mladá Boleslav, Slovan Liberec, Baník Ostrava
I’ll give it to you harder kash:
Liverpool, Swindon Town (loan), Coventry City, Blackburn Rovers, Wigan Athletic, Portsmouth, Bolton Wanderers
Borussia Monchengladbach, Mainz, FC Koln, Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool, Hertha BSC (loan), Dynamo Moscow, Fortuna Dusseldorf (loan)
Proper legend this guy.
