Klopp likes to make a tweak to his system for every season. I think this season he was planning to completely dominate possession with Thiago at 6 and a very high line, with Fabinho being good on the ball next to VVD and of course the option to play Fabinho at 6 for the more difficult games.

Everything was ripped apart with the injuries and whilst the last few weeks haven't been great, we're still up there and in with a shout. You wouldn't think it if you listened to many of the people on here. Every team goes through bad times and if people don't understand the mental strength of this squad by now and how they, more than most teams will come through it, then they never will.

You say that as of it's a good thing? We've lost the same amount of games in 20 games this season as we did in 76 games the last 2 seasons, and 3 of those were when we were hungover after winning the title.

It's wholly unrealistic to expect that to continue and yes it is a good thing. Tbh you're kinda done on here if we're honest. Utterand a bit of an embarrassment to the club imo.

Phillips is an easy selection for the weekend. Obviously we don't have much choice but I'd have played him regardless. Won MOTM in the reverse fixture and we need his height against a big West Ham team, particularly Soucek and Antonio. I trust him to do a job in these sorts of games.

Anyway, I genuinely feel sorry for Spurs fans. Not the utter buffoons like Morespuunk, Sandy, Sizzle etc, but the genuine ones. Everyone knew that Jose was a terrible appointment at such a crucial stage for Spurs. If Levy had given Poch the funds that Jose got, then Spurs could have continued their growth, as opposed to the obvious regression.

And they're still on course for a top4 finish...although still need to find out the extent of the Kane injury.

That’s not even close to being the true picture though, is it?

Should be judging Mourinho at the end of the season I'd say, reckon they've got a good chance in all three cup competitions. If he delivers one or two of them it will be worth watching the shiitt football for.

Doing ok in the league and made some good signings, with the exception of Bale who has been a disaster.
