We also delayed our financials reporting to May this year I think because it supposed to be out already.
Cooking the books
Get ready for the Harvey Elliot is like a new signing this summer.
Maybe we will make a few signings this summer then, good stuff.
To be fair to FSG, if they didn't cover the losses then if we sold and bought with still being £120m in the red then we'll be in breach of FFP.
But that means more money added to the interest free loans we have with them.
FFP is relaxed and soon to be disbanded

I think we all can agree that he needs to join the first team squad.
Being linked with Sabitzer as well now.

It's not going to be disbanded at all.
FFP will likely be replaced by some other profit and sustainability rules that will be just like FFP, but under a different name.

Apparently our projected losses is going to be something like £120m.
Redbird are purchasing a stake in FSG but they are going to cover our losses for us with that investment and continue the Anfield Rd development with some of that money.
Our transfers will still be sell to buy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think it'll be sell to buy, Pearce's article on it sounded more like the money covering the losses will allow us to have a "normal" transfer window as if Covid wasn't a thing.
We spent over £70m this year, dont really remember us selling anyone other than players we dont actually want.
I'll never understand how selling the likes of Brewster, Solanke and Benteke is supposed to be hurting us.
We spend sh!t loads whether people like it or not and as ever our huge wage bill gets ignored.
And you can almost guarantee there will be some nonsense analogy about buying cars or houses or sommat

What he means by that is that we will be able to structure our deals in the normal way pre-covid i.e being able to pay larger sums up front for players rather than having to defer them into the future, like we were forced to do with the Thiago and Jota deals last summer.
The investment from Redbird won't change at all what we will be able to spend on in terms of transfers, that's entirely limited to the "spare" profits and losses to meet FFP regulations we have over a certain period.
Crucially it will be a major cash injection though which will massively help the club in many areas. I must confess it amazes me the amount of people on the internet that don't understand the massive difference between cash and profits, but there you go.

This is VERY good for us. If nothing else he's a monster at big game goals/headers.
Finally got my new virgin package installed, finally have BT Sport and Sky Sports in my house!
Looking forward to the CL games.

Not in the CL, Premier League though, you need to give the wife a credit card and get me dragged to the shops and we will win every game.

Seemingly that was a big part of the deal. Kenton can’t own a team while he’s still playing, but FSG would be able to
