You're in the system Term, I expect your opinion to be different and biased.

This utopian society you all expect we should be living in literally will never exist....and it's not because of the common man protesting by whatever means necessary.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aim for the sun and reach the moon. Utopia may never happen but things could also be much worse, distopia, so don't take anything for granted.

Clearly you misjudge the millions of people that actually live the sport. Buy the merch, buy season tickets. Attend every game. Invested their life into the club.

Brush it off though because of 2 police officers.

Liverpool fans really think "they" made the difference and not the loophole we found in the repayment terms
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you actually think that they should have ransacked Anfield and maybe had a riot?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We'll never know because we never got to the point of that being a necessity. Utd fans obviously think otherwise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A necessity? We were going to go out of existence or be relegated to the conference or something. Much more danger than United are in now.

We got to the point of nearly being in administration. We got well past the point United have but didn’t feel the need to assault coppers and break into Anfield, rightly so.

It's all just horrible, Insert would you mind setting up a Gofundme for the poor Glazers? The billionaire vultures are the real victims in all this isn't that right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Policemen get hurt in the line of duty that they signed up for in shock horror.

While we're at it, publicly showing our gratitude to these fine offices at Old Trafford yesterday, why don't we google the total number of officers that lost their lives yesterday and show our support to them as well....or does that not fit the narrative here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Feck me, I didn’t think you were this thick. We’re talking about yesterday’s events, so what’s the point in referring to something completely unrelated?

You can’t say that just because there's the potential for police to get injured in their line of duty then tough shiite. Police aren’t there to be assaulted because fans don’t like their club’s owners. It’s a football club not an oppressed population.

What an utter feckwit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You didn’t know this already

Referring to your last comment
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll have none of that, Michael is a good man, possibly the best I have ever known.

Ttliv

You’re the most negative ‘fan’ I’ve seen on here. You rarely have a good thing to say about the club. Yet here you are saying breaking into Anfield and adulting coppers would reflect well on fans and show real support

United are at the top of all the news and front pages of the papers, with fans being largely condemned for their actions. Not the positive reflection you’re advocating.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I obviously don't support violence on coppers why must you always try to twist and manipulate what people say to "win" the argument. With H&G I would have supported protests that get games called off definitely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So when I said our fans didn’t emulate United fans yesterday, breaking into the stadium and assaulting police, and you replied that reflected badly on us you meant?

The game wasn’t called off yesterday because of fans outside the ground.

Doubt it but if it ignites a change towards the fans and running of the club then it's all good.

Ok, our club was hijacked by cowboys and we sat back and did nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here he goes again.

Same question as yesterday. What did YOU do to help get rid of H & G?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So unless I become the 1 fan out of hundreds of millions that instigates the protests I have no right to talk? What kind of reetarded logic is that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have no right to label people as cowards or whatever when you haven’t lifted a finger to instigate change yourself.

You’re the one displaying true reetaarded logic 👍

Probably would have had shooters with them in SA.

No but it may put pressure on the league to do something. Plenty that feel a leveraged buyout shouldn't have been allowed in the first place.

I remember the defeatist attitude in the hours after the ESL was announced. "It's happening the fans can't do anything." The reality was 48 hours later it was finished
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Huge difference being protests against ESL were by fans of the 6 clubs, fans of the other 14, and the vast majority of football league clubs, the vast majority of pundits and journalists and it was a pretty much universally hated idea.

Getting rid of the Glazers is a United fan problem. It’s not as universally condemned by people outside of United. I doubt they’re considering selling after yesterday.

Yeah...it was a protest that turned ugly but it literally happens all over the world. I can guarantee that the outrage on this thread is purely down to it being Utd fans and nothing else.

Can’t see why the league would intervene when United aren’t threatened with administration or anything. Did they get involved with Hicks and Gillette?

Yep.

Like them or loath them Utd fans, particularly their away support, are some of the best in the world. They always take thousands with them.

Scvmbags like, obviously, but certainly committed.

No but games were not being called off. Could they alter how much debt clubs are run on for example? This is Utd fans main problem. how much lonely they take out whilst not giving a sh!t.

I don't have any answers but I am completely with Michael and GT on this.

Can’t see the league getting involved to get rid of the Glazers IMO
