shaqs pretty pointless if we have jones and elliott, kinda like lallana, i like him as i did lallana but taking up development time for 2 of our biggest talents whilst on big wages and unlike lallana clearly isnt as favoured by Klopp either.

what do we do with grujic did he ever start getting games in portugal was it? previous loans were a success stopped checking in on him when he was always on the bench.

Gruijic could be a decent squad player and someone to play in Europa

If we let go of 4 midfielders as someone outlined above then it's almost a cert that Wilson and Grujic would stay to fill spots.

Bissouma would be a £40m signing and Neuhaus at BMG is being heavily linked with Bayern.

I'd keep Grujic as a squad player if possible, but at the same time I don't know what else he would offer that the likes of Ox, Minamino, Shaqiri etc haven't already. But he deserves a chance possibly. Although I did read that the club were looking to offload for £25m.

Bissouma is attracting interest from a host of clubs and now City too. He will be another player going to the AFCON too. We need two midfielders next season.

One to replace Wij and another to hopefully replace Kieta and Ox. Next season:

Is there actually any guarantee that Wijnaldum is leaving yet? I'm not as sure as I was back in January when it seemed to be pretty much confirmed but some reports sound like the club will table him an offer and that he wants to stay?

I don't think Keita will be sold this summer, I just think clubs won't pay the fee for him, especially with money being tighter this summer due to Covid. I'd be surprised if all Keita, Shaqiri, Grujic and Ox were to be sold this summer anyway. Not even including the likes of Ben Davies, Origi and possibly Minamino. The club won't want that high a turnover of players going out.

Wij is gone. With the squad ageing it will be silly to offer a 30 year old (31 in Nov) a new contract. That ship has sailed. Reckon he will end up in Italy because Barca no longer want him.

Kieta is done as for Klopp is concerned it seems. Can't even get off the bench. There is interest for him in Germany but it will be loss for us. 30-35m.

Will clubs really be able to (and then willing) to pay £30-35m for Keita given his injury record?

We might have to do what we did with Ings where we send him on loan with an obligation to buy.

Yeah that was the situation last year but now as he approaches a Bosman he wants to be compensated for the money he will make on signing on fees which will make him one of the highest earners at the club.

Possibly, I just think it will be difficult to get rid of Keita for the price everybody would want him to go at. I reckon it would be more £20-25m this summer.

However, Edward has also masterminded £15m for Ibe and £20m for Solanke, so who knows.

Keita ain't going anywhere imo.

That'd be a huge turnaround of players if so because I think Shaq, Origi, Wij and Ox are nailed on to leave. May be less so Ox but I reckon he wants first team football.

There's potential for a big clear-out this summer but it probably depends on how much money other clubs have due to Covid.

You'd think Wij, Adrian, Origi, Shaq, Minamino, Grujic, Phillips, Davies, Ox, Keita, all will either go or be open to offers.

We won't sell that many, you would instantly destroy the cohesion of the team, friendships, training partnerships etc.

Then there's the bedding in period klopp likes to give players, it would be suicidal

I think Shaqiri, Ox and Keita may stay.

Keita will unless there is a significant offer for him.

Time to cash in on Shaq though.
