Can't actually believe how we did this, I'd given up months ago. Great achievement. Would have been great if Chelsea missed out luck buggers 😆

Thiago was magnificent again, what a player.

Yeah baby, wait to next season,

He will be better next season with better defenders behind him and he doesn't have to tackle.

Just seen the Gini presentation after the game. Glad he got to do that with some fans in the ground.

He'll always tackle. Did you ever watch him at Bayern. He often led their stats for interceptions and tackles. Just because he is rash it doesn't mean he can't tackle. He's hardly Paul Scholes ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He can tackle but at times his tackles were too rash. He didn't had to tackle much against Mainz, Bremen, Dusseldorf or the other shte German teams because they dominated possession. It is different in this league.

yeah id given up, even though we were getting over the line was not impressed with a lot of the performances either.

Chelsea got away with it big time and trust Spurs to do them a favour for it

Thiago will always make laods of tackles, get gets stuck in, he wins a lot of headers for someone of his height too.

Yeah this surprised me actually. He's got a more than decent spring on him.

Considering our defensive issues and how poor we’ve been in front of goal, we still ended up with the fourth best defensive record and only United and City scored more than us.

United had a great season according to a lot of punditsz and we finished just three points behind them..

Can't believe how rotten our injury luck was this year.. both CBs even needed glueing up in the last game ffs

With Fab and Hendo. Pretty good midfield.

Amazing effort from the team these last few weeks. I wasn't confident at all, especially after those 2 draws but they've exceeded my expectations.

Thankfully Rodgers did what Rodgers always does and Chelsea were always keeping one eye on the CL.

The stars finally aligned for us.

Glad to be in it but I was secretly hoping Leicester would as well just for the sake of a new face. It's even worse for them as well knowing the opportunity that they missed with Chelsea losing as well.

It always seems to be that the big teams get into the CL no matter what, Juve did the same last night as well because Napoli drew.

Makes me more confident for next season, seeing what we're capable of even before we've got all our players back. Get one or two quality additions in summer, preferably including a proper striker, and we could be hard to stop again.

Such a good day yesterday, I've had a hattrck of hangovers from these past three games and am looking forward to some hippy juice cleansing!

Mad proud of the team, their attitude really is spot on.

Nice bit of icing on the cake seeing Everton get absolutely smashed and finish below Leeds.

How long will they go without any attention? The Everton hype train seems ages ago and as ever I am pleased I didn't get on. They will always be Everton.

Saw the season broken into 3 parts earlier, our form went:

GW 1-14 = 1st
GW 15-28 = 17th
GW 29-38 = 1st

Should bode well for next season once we get injured players back and a few new faces in.

In fairness, taking the unprecedented 6 consecutive home defeats out of the question, it's only actually 3 defeats our of the remaining 32 league games. So tbf, it's not as bad as what some people make out because I can't see 6 home defeats next season.

That’s some fantastic manipulation of the stats

Not exactly because that's what it was. It's also a bit on encouragement going into next season knowing that, despite all the issues this season, one poor spell of form was really the only factor that stopped this season being a potential title challenge.

So if’s and but’s then? I think you’ll find most teams will be able to do that at some point in most seasons. Just find it a bit daft that saying if we hadn’t lost those six home games we could have won the league. We deserved to lose them, so it’s a massive moot point.

I'm still in shock that it's most likely that a last minute winner from our goalkeeper got us Champions League Football
