I've said it before and I'll say it again... I actually like football.
As such I'm looking forward to the tourney this summer.

To be fair, I'm talking about from at least 5-10 years ago to now. And the "fashionable" part is people seemingly acting like its some kind of positive that they no longer care about it. Tends to be fans of prem clubs to be fair but my point was, that come international tournament time, you wouldn't think they didn't care.

As I see it It’s just personal choice, genuinely no idea what you mean with the ‘fashionable’ bit. You should know by now that people generally talk in extremes on this site! Most will probably take an interest once it kicks off, and then be all over it after the first poor performance. It’s probably no different to watching league football tbf, how often did plenty of our own fans disown the team and give up on football during this season?!
I also think a lot of the apathy is brought on by the qualifiers, they pretty farcical in general and rigged to reduce the risk of bigger teams not qualifying.
I can’t wait for it to start, in fact I’ve hardly taken any AL this year so we may take a week off
Saying that I’m at home anyways
Yeah I've booked time off for it. Really looking forward to it.
Friends, family, booze, food, football and with any luck a bit of sunshine.

sometimes I reckon but the flip side is I have at least two more hours in my day and am considerably less stressed by things such as traffic, time, awful trains, nobheads in offices, needless meetings in over crowded rooms with faltering IT issues and so on.

Glad I dont have to work anymore. Horrible to be a wage slave from 9-5 sitting behind a computer the whole facking day while you can enjoy live doing things you love.

Spend all day, everyday in class for years. Then spend all day at work for most of what you have left. 5 days a week for years and years. The other 2 days a week is for everything else, including raising your family and unwinding.
No wonder we love alcohol and drugs so much.
Future generations will think we were insane.
