Midfield debate has always been about injuries.
Milner broke down after 1 game and is now considered injury prone
Ox and Keita we all know are not going to survive
Hendo gets his fare share of injuries
Thiago was injured and has a past
Fab has his 6 weeks off in a season too
Jones jury still out if he's good enough
Harvey has shown good potential so early days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mate do you ever shut the fack up?
Who classes Milner as injury prone besides you?
Some criticism can be normal but the way you go on is really annoying.
when it comes to injuries for our players it’s like you’ve got Münchausen syndrome by proxy or something.

I struggle to believe he takes any joy from supporting us to the point I wonder if he does. One of the most boring posters on the entire site.

Minamino came back from loan like Elliott.
2 new signings
This thread should come with a flood warning with all the tears from the crowd.
<Wah> I want a shiny new player
<Wah> I want to pretend like finances are irrelevant
<Wah> I want to be a soulless oil club
Did not know that capital letters mess up the smileys!
Transfer window is shut now anyway, so we can move on and look forward to the season.
CL group is mouthwatering, just wish we didn't have yet another pointless international break tbh!
Leeds, Palace, Brentford the next three.
All very winnable.
That 12.30 game between Chelsea and City looks tasty.
In terms of CL we should be dispatching Milan and Porto fairly comfortably.

Of all the international breaks this is my least favorite. Just got going in the league and then they rip it up for a couple of weeks.

Definitely need to be winning those all those league matches. Leeds looks the hardest on paper but they've looked particularly vulnerable so far this season.
CL group is going to be really competitive and I see loads of draws throughout the group. I reckon it could be one where you qualify with 7/8 points.
I think Leeds will struggle a bit this season.
The more I see of Brentford the trickier that away game looks.
I think Palace will go down.
Managed to do a FF side yesterday that had Ronaldo, Kane, Lukaku and Salah in it. Loris as the keeper.
I actually think it might work
Really hope you mean Lloris not Loris Karius, for your sake.

Lloris Delores
Zaha aside Palace's team does look woeful. Anderson did ok at Fulham last season and may be a decent signing but that's about it really. The rest of their squad is championship quality.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I got 14/1 on Palace to go down in March for this season. One look at the players they were losing at Hodgson likely to leave made those odds impossible to ignore.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a great shout.
Just everything about them from the manager to the signings looks wrong.
I do quite like the Chelsea lad they have on loan, Gallagher.
They look nailed on to me. Fat Sam by Christmas?
A lot of people have been saying that their transfer business has been astute this window and they have brought in the calibre of player that suits Viera's style and I don't think that's wrong.
The likes of Edouard, Olise, Gallagher, Hughes, Guehi, Andersen etc are all decent signings for me if they can get them to gel together, it looks like potentially quite an exciting team to me personally. Especially alongside Zaha and Eze. I think Palace will survive. I can understand why people would put them down to be relegated however.
I think Palace will survive. They were the better team against West Ham and will win enough games especially at home.
I think palace made some
Gd signings and still have a better squad than 4/5 teams, my questionmark is vieira as a manager.

People tip Burnley every year after they have a bad start but they always stay up and usually very comfortably. They have a good manager that will always get them enough results against the crap teams. I see no different this year.

I think Cornet will be a good addition personally, looks talented whenever I've seen him and immensely experienced for a 24 year old. Still think they had enough without him anyway.

Talk about obsession over a comment I made yesterday afternoon which has got you so wound up the after
In the comment I mentioned some valid concerns over midfield injuries and you decide on a personal attack on a internet "forum". Pretty weak mentality from you but fair enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you feel hurt, then perhaps some introspection is required.
When you made such comment is neither here nor there. It’s the repetition, ad nauseum, of moaning and labelling players which belies the spirit of support that the history of LFC is built upon.

They do usually start poorly, but they just haven't added anything and there is only so many times you can do that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've thought that as well, usually a lack of investment catches up with you and Burnley have been taking a slow and steady slide down the table for a few years now.
In fairness though, they've spent a bit this summer and recruited 3/4 players such as Connor Roberts, Nathan Collins, Maxwell Cornet etc that will definitely improve their side.
I'm also unsure when a club changes ownership as well, that can lead to a few sticky situations at clubs but Burnley have been backed fairly well this summer.
