The 4 games he's won too all had a United penalty in them, so he's literally never won a CL game without a penalty
No wonder ronaldo kept driving for a pen
I was waiting for Culers latest gem this morning along the lines of the CL does not matter and it is all about the PL or that dark forces are conspiring against them.
Although this looks like his latest persona

If they begin to mention categories that confirms that it is Culer.
To say he consistently bangs on about them having 10 "categorised" world class players, they are a long way from proving that with the results this season.
It's still very early, but despite the personnel coming through the door the team still doesn't look consistent enough. That comes down to the manager more than the players imo.

Unbalanced squad lacking quality in key areas.
Ole will be doing very well indeed to keep that lot happy over the course of the season. I'm sticking with 4th as a prediction.

Don't expect it to derail or really have much of an impact on their season though, these are professionals.
There are also 4 competitions to play in. Something we never get to enjoy as a club as we always throw away the domestic clubs.
That's the one thing I'm looking forward to when Klopp leaves, actually doing something than going out in the first round or two in the domestic cups!
*throw away the domestic cups.

Theres a world cup around the corner, you don't get selected for that by playing Cheltenham in the league cup.
VDB alreadymeaning. It'sabsolutely an issue in Saturday league and even Champ Manager, let alone elite top level football.

VDB getting grumpy seems to have no bearing on their performances though, they've had a great start in the league this year with some impressive results despite having a fraud as their manager.
Also, if Cavani is getting fed up, it's because they've got one of the best players on the planet playing in his place, so surely that's a benefit?
Van De Beek is shiite to be fair, can't imagine United will be that bothered by him being unhappy with lack of playing time. Absolutely bizarre signing to be honest.

Not to him. They get oodles for appearances and DVB has clearly complained about playing time.
I suspect there is a reason that Klopp says he prefers to work with a smaller group of players.
Rashfords England place in particular is under threat.

Yeah I don't rate him. Reminds me of Klaassen at Everton who was also bobbins.
Very mixed bag when buying from the Dutch league. They're usually brilliant or awful with not much in between.
Looks like buying German is also hit and miss if you look at Keita, Werner and now Sancho.
There was no plan when they signed VDB. He isn't a defensive midfielder or a playmaker. His quality is making runs in the box and scoring which means he needs creative players around him who can make the pass. Ziyech was the one who assisted all the time. Fernandes playing the same role means he wouldn't get a kick in the Utd side.
Klaassen was the same. They are asked to do a job they aren't good at.
I watched Adeyemi against Seville and he was very good last night.
Van de Beek just seemed like a signing to bolster the squad but he's barely ever been used.
This is also why I can't understand people referencing squad sizes, you only use your squad when you need it. United have barely used Van de Beek since he has joined.

Well that's just poor management of your playing squad. That was apparent in the EL final where the manager didn't trust his squad enough in the game to make a difference, or to not have a negative impact.
