Rabiot will want a handsome wage with his bosman. Juve were paying him 150k which was already too much for a limited player.

Manuel Obafemi Akanji for 15m btw thats the kind of defensive signing we need.

Lot of talk about who we'll buy... but who do people think we could sell (and for how much)?

Kelleher - he's on buttons and wants first team footy
£35m

Tsmikias - not very good at football, brilliant at crossing
£15m

Matip - 3rd choice and nearing the end of his contract
£8m

Morton - just had a decent loan spell, but to a club nearer to his level than us
£8m

Carvalho - super talented, lacks a position, rumours of a fall out
£20m

think kelleher will be allowed to leave cheaper out of respect etc, but maybe a very good buy back clause with it. If he wants to leave i doubt we'll price him out with 35m fee tbf. Hes very good but hes not played a lot of footy has he?

tsimikas could be a bargain at 15m for a lot of teams, think he needs a run of games doesnt seem great at coming in for 1 or 2 games at a time.

Matip ive no idea hes very good when available but we know his issues.

Carvalho you'd imagine still has a lot of interest as he is a talent. Something must have happened, not getting games in our team this season just screams somethings wrong.

Pretty sure we have already ruled out that he is leaving. Plus he should get the Europa games.

Yep, Klopp said this week that he’s not leaving, with the caveat only ‘a crazy offer’ would it be considered. So I guess he’s covering his bases, but suspect he really wants to keep him.

Has Kelleher actually said he wants first team football or are people just assuming it?

Saka on 300k a week supposedly. Alot of money to pay at that age.

hard to do it all in one window anyway, targets have to be available and for our valuation etc also too many at once and it can be tricky to manage. Klopp often takes time bedding in players too.

I do wonder if Nunez thing was a ploy to delay his add on payments.

I'm sure I must be misinterpreting your post somehow.

Are you suggesting that Klopp was benching Nunez because he didn't want the club to have to pay add-ons?

When trying to make a late run for the CL, you wonder if Klopp might have been thinking - hang on, if we do this then we'll have to pay a subset of Nunez's £8.5m performance clause?

That's mad. Completely mad.

Overtraining the players to intentionally cause injuries, in order to avoid paying bonuses.

Don’t think so but if he wants to be ROI number one he needs first team footy.

He’s competing with bazuno for the spot and he’s first choice at the saints.

not saying it happened but i do wonder, not even sure what his addons tbh just a passing comment really.

Good news for us if hes staying, hes prob the best back up gk in the league? imo anyway hes been brilliant when we've called on him and he looks a talent. Do worry for him though how i think he should be on way more games already, he needs more than cup games imo hes better than that. But if hes happy we're happy then id say we're lucky.

We should sign Bazuno and have him as fourth choice. That way Kelleher will get to be Ireland’s No1 and won’t need to leave.
