yeah be surprised if we sign 3/4 players that will be 1st team or competing for 1st team positions this window alone. And ive said why numerous times too on here. If it is Mac Allister id expect it to be most our budget and dont think we have much resale value.

yeah that was clearly sarcasm, think there will be numerous just not 3/4 first team or pushing for first team players that will cost 30+ mill each with a 70+ mill or w.e.

You don't need to spend big to get the right players to play the way you want. There is an obsession in England if you don't spend big the player isn't good. I'd rather spend 150m on three midfielders who can fulfil a role and complement eachother than one guy for 130m.

Agree totally with this and I agree with the Bellingham decision for that reason. Just annoyed it was made a year too late.

Mac Allister seems like the first signing, I hope it’s a more defensive minded player to follow and my hope is it’s Tchouameni.

I’d then sign Gvardiol and that would revolutionise the way we could play.

5th - 75m
6th - 36m

this 250m without a big sale and probably very little regained through small sales like in the past? can see why im sceptical surely?

Why would Madrid loan us Tchouameni? I mean he’s a great player and they’re getting Bellingham looks like, but surely he’s their only real proper dm in their squad?
