You lot should really get out and enjoy the sun.

It’s actually not that warm towards the east, actually been bloody freezing for the time of year!
Went to the garden with a pear cider in the sun, which didnt stay out long, bit nippy for 16c.

This.
Lovely weather outside.
It's lush here in Nortingham. Got the place to myself too and a very private garden.
On my 2nd spilff and first beer. Love it.

That sounds significantly more relaxing than my situation of dealing with 2 kids, the bbq and a hungover wife!
On the percentage spend, it’s pretty redundant argument when the clubs (and revenues) are so vastly different. The average might be 71% but look at the clubs at the top end of that - Fulham, Everton, Palace, Leicester. Not aspirational stuff really. And then you look at the clubs around us in % - City and Utd. A better indicator in terms of size.
The two outliers are arguably Arsenal but they’ve invested to get back into the CL, I would expect to see their % drop as the revenues grow, and Chelsea. But Chelsea are a basket case of a club, certainly not something to aim for. (Source: https://www.statista.com/chart/amp/22002/premier-league-wage-burden/)
Honestly, our wage to revenue is decent. We can fund massive salaries (Salah) but also remain proportionate.

Blimey. We’ll have to see how he fits in but you’ve got to say that on the face of it, that’s a cracking deal relative to what you’d normally pay for another high EPL performer at such a good age.
£45m would be an absolute steal, but still seems hard to believe. I read something a few weeks ago about a release clause for only teams not in the CL, perhaps it was true. Still played a blinder to convince him to come though as he’s a £60-70m quality player absolutely.
I'm not going to pretend that I know loads about Thuram and Kone, but say they are good and we replace Ox, Keita snd Milner with those two and AMA that's a big shift in quality and availability.
City are going to lose Gundogan and possibly Bernado, who's quality and experience will be incredibly hard to replace.
We may have a punchers chance next season.
kovacic would be solid for them though but yeah replacing them will be tough. said same about Fernandinho and david silva though and they did it with seemingly ease. And Kompany.

Would feel slightly sorry for Brighton if thay get less for him than they did Cucurella. Not our issue ofc itd be good for us. I still wont believe it personally until its done and out. Apparently Mac A asked for a heavily bonus incentivised contract, that its similar to Salahs in being structured that way. So a huge contract if he/us do well if not be around 150k.
Kovacic isn't going to score the important goals that Gundo has these past few years, and that's if they can get him fit.
Kovacic only has good games against Liverpool I swear

Its 38mil actually.
Our midfield makes him look better than he is.
He will be a bench option for them and this could spell the end of Phillips there.
I think Gundogan will extend his contract. He will still do well as he doesn't rely on pace and power.

Reliable source? Wouldn’t surprise me but it would be a kick in the balls.
Why would we sell to city.
