Can't see us going for another midfielder at all (assuming Thuram is done), and Lavia would cost more than we're willing to spend per player apparently.

I saw we were apparently offered and declined Ndicka earlier so it does seem we're going for a CB - guess we wait and see if anything happens with Van de Ven which seems to pop up the most

Lavia is rumoured to cost 40-50m having just come out the City academy. Compared to Thuram who starts every game for Nice, a solid Ligue 1 club. As I said, the going rate for these players is high.

Crazy but true. Caicedo would cost circa £80m (apparently) and a lot of fans would welcome that - he's played 16 more EPL games than Lavia.

Young EPL talent just costs ridiculous money.

So changing the topic to some random lie. Sounds like deflection. I never said that about Salah. Learn to read. Khephren Thuram, the son of Lilian Thuram and one of the best prospects out of France, projected to be a regular for Le Blue, already getting call ups, and you heard about him a couple of weeks ago. Safe to say anything you say can be dismissed out of hand because of your abysmal footie knowledge which would explain some of your ridiculous views.

I wouldn't say we're lacking quality personally, I think we're lacking reliability (Thaigo, Jones, Fab in terms of form) and we're lacking experience (Jones, Bajcetic, Elliott, Thuram).

Hendo and Thiago will struggle to cover 1 position between them, Jones also yet to prove he can complete a season without numerous injuries like Gomez. We've lost 3 and gained 1 and we've serious questionmarks over Fabs form, Hendo/Thiago/Jones injury records and 2 kids that are learning.

If we don't sign minimum 2 more midfielders can see it being another mistake/missed opportunity. Though im excited to see if Jones/Baj/Elliott can kick on to new levels next season. I think Elliott was one of our few positives from last season personally.

Thuram looks very raw to me Also i can't see him or Kone playing in the positions they currently do, dno if theyve played any kind of mf role like in our preferred system either. So raw talents in a new league new roles.

We need another runner in midfield ahead of Trent. Someone who make the run on the outside of Salah so he can cut in and also track back to help Trent as well

Whilst Mac Allister may turn out to be a good signing, I feel very underwhelmed with the players we've been linked with. Thuram hasn't with the likes of PSG, City, Bayern or the Madrid Clubs

Let's be honest though, no matter who we sign, it will all have been a waste when City sign Gvardiol and Rice. The rest of us should just go home.

Don't remember any of Europe's elite being after Mac. That means 1 of 2 things: either he had his heart set on us or he's not actually top drawer. Hopefully, it's the former.
