Pay the release clause and they'll be so awash with cash that they'll refuse to sell Gvardiol to City....

At first I thought Szoboszlai was to try and tempt Nice into selling us Thuram, but I think we're just generally looking at pricier and more attacking midfielders now instead. I mean, we had the Viega link a few weeks ago, us apparently enquiring after Valverde, now Szoboszlai... maybe we've lined-up some investment or something.

I’m not overly sold on Thuram, from what I read he’s more one for the future. I assume the intention will be having Fabinho play a lot this year.

Would much rather Szoboszlai from what I read and see. Looks far more ready for the PL.

I’m not sure. We lost 3 midfielders in summer and will likely lose Thiago next so I think we need 3.

We need 3. I think we'll get 3...but I doubt it's Szobo AND Thuram

Should be at least 2 more quality signings after Mac as a bare minimum.

We should be aiming for 3 if we can make some sales.
