I would definitely want another midfielder in addition to Lavia if Henderson and Fabinho go.
Lavia seems a definite because he's homegrown though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats the thing isnt it, most agreed we needed 3 midfielders and thats before potentially losing Hendo/Thiago.
Still think we need to be focusing on a CB though long term, if thats Colwill hopefully we get some luck there.
Touch wood....but the availability of Big Mac10 and Szoboszlai put us in a much stronger position than with Ox and Keita
Ah well, I'd say that's that then. Good luck Jordan

What do people think Klopp wants.
Does he want Henderson to stay do you think? If so, why?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I expect he wants lots of things, but he’s also a realist. He’s always said he’d never stop anyone leaving if they want to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's not what I meant Term.
I'm just asking what people think Klopp wants, snd if he does want Henderson to stay (and personally I suspect he very much does) then why?
I'm asking because many seem to think that this "leadership malarkey" is no big deal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not saying it’s not important, but that too much is being made of it under the circumstances. It’s not as if he was able to prevent or drag us out of our rut last season, and yes he’s only one player but his ability to make a big difference on the pitch is on the wane, and he’d likely start even more games on the bench.
Just not sure he’d be as big a loss as many make out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, I'm just asking what people think Klopps wants, and if it is for him to stay, then why?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re being pointless
It's okay if you don't want to answer Term. No-one else has either.

Got a feeling this may end up on the back burner with so much upheaval in midfield. Hopefully not though.
How did we enter the Henderson negotiations with him going on a free and us potentially getting 20mil. Jorg SchMADtke
Seems we’ve been caught out with all this Saudi stuff, though doubt we’re the only club.
Chelsea are loving it mind….
I think Klopp would 100% want Henderson and Fabinho to stay, I think he’d have kept Milner had it been his decision too. In addition to Mane.
I think it hurts him to see the team that made him so successful be broken up but that’s the nostalgic side of him.

Rumours now too that Barca want to sign Thiago
Could have a complete midfield overhaul.

Will say, it's a bit crazy if Hendo leaves given positions he has taken as our captain. He was surprisingly vocal during the Super League debacle and obviously is outspoken about LGBT rights. He does provide moral leadership to the players which I assume is part of what Robbing is hinting at, and Klopp knows he can trust Hendo even if his on-field ability has declined

I'd be wary of that. Barca are basically the complete opposite of the Saudi teams - all the prestige you could want and no money!
Looks like we're going from a midfield that's too old to one that's too young.
Can't help but feel this will be too much change all at once.
It’s just open season, and this Saudi stuff has given journo’s a new lease of life to literally say anything they want.
