Kash said we won't sign Gravenburch but we signed Gravenberch instead, so he stays. It's settled

jasus just seen that, where did the extra 20m euros come fromsure it started off at 20m euros the 30m.. 40 facking mhes just cost 1m less than AMA and he hasnt played for a yearfacking hells this DoF doing?

This board might not agree on much but I think we all agree AMA was an absolute bargain. Comparing to his fee is a bit pointless.

Consider him 50% of a Havertz. That should make you feel better. Or 55% of a Mount.

The world and his dog knew we were a bit desperate for midfielders and had money thanks to Caicedo's cat-fishing. Was always going to cost a bit. He's a talent though, that much isn't in doubt.

Naby vs Term the other big game this weekend.

Just pay the extra money and get it done, bloody FSG.

We've been ripped off, bloody FSG.

I don’t think anyone actually expects Kash to leave btw. The final nail in the coffin of his credibility is forfeit enough 👍

Also didn't Bayern get him on a release fee last year? If so, the increase in price is irrelevant.

Personally, I think getting someone good into midfield is worth £35m to us. So if he ends up good then happy days. If he ends up more than that then we will look back on this as a bargain.

Really pleased we've got Gravenburch in personally.

Oh and United fans seem to think they'll get £40m for mctominay in which case Gravenberch is dirt cheap

posted on 31/8/23

bayern paid 19m euros that could have risen to 24m euro, it was super cheap at the time and a surprise. He hasnt done well nor played much at Bayern but there was still a lot of interest from Us Arsenal Utd etc. You'd imagine Ajax had a sell on clause too and how late it is in the window. We paid 40m euro with 5m euros in add ons. So theyve more than doubled their money but again they got him dirt cheap much cheaper than hes worth.

If you ignore his time at Bayern focus on his Ajax form and potential 34m gbp is a bargain in this market.

I feel my bubble is about to burst. Got a decent score last week but was pretty fortunate first two weeks.

Actually think Mamba has been pretty unlucky to not get a win.

£34m for a player who a year ago was touted as one of the best midfield talents in Europe is an absolute bargain considering some of the fees being paid these days.

Delighted with the transfer tbh. I think we need more but like the other three I’m happy with the transfers we have actually made.

Some big Dutch lads

I'm a fan of Gravenberch and have said from the start. Would I like him to be a bit cheaper? Yeah but a combined £145m or whatever for AMA, Szoboszlai, Endo and Gravenberch is fine by me.

Only going by rumours but we've been tracking Gravenberch since long before he joined Bayern and if Klopp really wants him, that bodes well.

It's a completely new midfield and I'm fvcking excited by it. Smash Villa and the whole place, even on here, will be buzzing.

Hes a diamond in the rough, be interesting to see what Klopp does with him but be under no illusion its likely gonna take a long time. Hes a kid who has only played in the Dutch league really the prem will be a big step up alone then theres polishing him into what we need etc. Hes a big lad though with good physical attributes who is willing to put the work in which should help speed things up, along with Gakpo and VVD there for him.
