Some big calls in there if proven correct. Resting VVD is a ballsy one given neither Konate nor Quansah have looked totally confident recently.
Elliott deserves a start imo. Less convinced that Grav deserves to start over Jones.
And anytime you leave out Salah it’s a big call.
If that’s our line up then can’t say I’m overly optimistic tbh. Endo has more than shown he’s nothing but a mid/lower table level player, a few decent performances have papered over that. No issues with Elliott getting a start, but he’s definitely been more effective coming on later in the game for most of the season. Grav just hasn’t really settled yet, and as a unit I just think that midfield will get outplayed.
Also, I’m not sure Gakpo and Jota in the same team really works either. Bit left field but I think we could have done worse than try:-
Diaz-Jota-Szob
Szob often finds himself in that position anyway and it could be worth trying him further forward and freeing him up of some defensive responsibilities.
Just to add….
Szob
Elliott
Trent
That would give Fulham plenty to think about and could even stop a lot of their attacks on that side which is a constant issue for us.
Let's hope these changes actually give Klopp a selection headache. Last game we tried Salah in a 10 which worked first half so hoping maybe Gakpo plays 10 with Elliott out wide with Diaz other side and Jota the gun man. It does mean Grav needs to turn up in a double pivot.
Having said all that it will probably be 4-3-3
Grav in a double pivot. good one Kash.

He was a Linders signing, as was Gakpo. Not Klopp players at all. Still young but need to start working hard now.

Isn’t it obvious?
I thought it was common knowledge that was why Edwards left because Klopp and Linders wanted too much power on the recruitment side of it.
Just gotta throw them in deep end it seems today is the day. I'm expecting to be ranting about it after 5 mins but let's see.

I'd wager it's bullsheet, but I guess it's possible. Also, putting Grav and Gakpo down to just Pep is quite out there IMO. I don't think that's how we do our transfers regardless of the situation at the club.

Even if the second part is true, how do you know it’s a Lijnders signing rather than Klopp? Unless you’re just assuming so because they’re all Dutch?

I think Endo is better than mid table but he's been overplayed out of necessity and also been injured.
Need an upgrade in the summer though.
Crikey, that is an incredibly harsh thing to say about Endo. People have very short term memories based on our recent bad form.

Completely agree with this. 18 months of abysmal finishing and Nunez is immune from criticism yet Endo who has done so much for us this season is mid table standard…
Can’t say I’m confident either though. Grav hasn’t really shown he can be trusted, Jota on the right rarely works and Gakpo is well.. Gakpo.
However with 3 games in a week we had to make changes and with so many players in crap form, I do understand it.
Any kind of win today will be a great result. I fear for us though against a very good Fulham team in form.

At least its VVD still playing
We appear to have played Palace into the form of Pep’s Barcelona team
Not sure I get Klopp’s thinking with that selection. Can’t tell if he’s resting players or dropping them.

Just my opinion from watching him. I don’t think he’s anywhere near good enough for a side in our position. Sure, I can’t fault his effort or attitude, but his tackling and passing isn’t good enough and players get past him too often.
I don’t criticise players very often and if he was second choice in that position I wouldn’t say anything. But he’s simply not good enough to be a regular starter for a top team
