I'll do the job for £50k per year. Don't have a clue about football management but it saves us on Klopp's wages!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The issue we had with many managerial appointments was that their appointment was the highlight of their career at the time.
Whereas with Klopp he’d actually achieved something. That’s what I like about Alonso and Amorim. Both have trophy wins under their belt.
Dunno anything about Arne Slot, anyone know about him?

Somebody said there was rumours Klopp is considering one last year. After that Alonso will be ready for us.
If we all clench our left butt cheeks at the exact same time, this will come true. I will arrange an official Liverpool fans butt-clenching meet up. Admin will share the details with you all soon.

Spurs wanted him before Ange but he turned them down.
PSV winning league this year and not Feyornood.
Any manager we choose other than Guardiola will be a downgrade
Yeah but there is levels to downgrades
Please not a manager from the Dutch league. ETH looked a decent punt on paper….

Finished 3rd, 1st and likely 2nd with Feyenoord. Done ok in the various European competitions.
Looks alright on paper but as Term says the Dutch league is so incredibly hit and miss that I think it'd be a massive punt.
I thought Amorim was nailed on.
Hughes is a fan of De Zerbi so I think it might be him.
From what limited knowledge I had about Amorim I'll be disappointed if it's not him. At least he's won his domestic league and by all accounts is an excellent man manager
I rate Slot higher than TH. A very calm manager who doesn't talk a lot of crap unlike TH. Done very well at every club he has managed but he lost the conference league final to Roma though.
I want Inzaghi, but the guy doesn't speak English.
I wouldn’t be dismissing the Amorin links just yet. Sporting are still in a title race and won’t want any distractions. I don’t think The Athletic or any other Journalists actually know who our targets are, it all comes across as guesswork.
They seem to be linking us with younger managers doing well in various leagues. Alonso, Amorin, Slot, no doubt it’ll be Inzaghi next….
Ornstein knows nothing tbh
Said Alonso was the front runner and then Alonso confirmed he’s staying
Didn’t realise Leverkusen were in the DFB Pokal final as well and against Kaiserslautern . They could actually win a treble which is incredible.
Please come back Xabi! Sounds like Amorim is in talks with West Ham, that’ll test his mettle and see how much appetite he has for one of the biggest jobs.

It wouldn’t shock me if a few candidates didn’t take it because they don’t want to follow Klopp.
It’s a great job with a fantastic squad so I wouldn’t want someone like that anyway, clearly a weak bottler and filled with self importance. Not that I think there’s anyone who would turn the job down on those grounds anyway.

At the moment we don't know if we even approached Amorin
Bit disappointed we haven’t got them Alonso anyway. Generally, if you pay them enough, they come.

The downside to Edwards is that he'll move onto other targets a bit too quickly sometimes
Meanwhile the Frank rumours gather pace

Portuguese media are also running heavy with the West Ham links and there's a photo doing the rounds of Amorim boarding a private jet whilst Sporting have confirmed they're not training until Thursday.
I think we've almost certainly pulled the plug unless we're planning on hijacking the talks.
The guy is 50 and has done nothing in the game. It would be a dreadful appointment.
We are seriously lacking ambition if Frank is the chosen one.

I reckon there's gonna be a lot of these ups and downs. In a couple weeks the landscape could look completely different.
