What Hoody was saying is that it's actually documented how you can't use caffeine over long periods of time...usually 2 seasons in football (I don't know the actual data tbh) or something like that and then you have to take the players off it because of heart related problems.

Comparing us to City might be a bit of a stretch. They have Rodri, De Bruyne, Foden, Silva, Kovacic, Nunes and John Stones who could play in midfield. That's an incredible list to choose from. Best in the league by some distance.
But I'll definitely be looking at Arsenal who's intensity rivals ours at times and Arteta rarely rotates yet still no injuries in training nothing. We can learn a lot from them regarding player recovery.
Also we all know Klopp's double sessions and our high intensity games. Then you add rhythm over rotation...it's a recipe for disaster. Dortmund experienced a lot of injuries while he was there as well. Every week there was 2 or 3 players out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal's intensity drops when they take the lead in games, whereby they fall back and counter. Liverpool continue playing the same way regardless.

You’ll get people blaming the heart problems we’ve seen more of in football on the vaccine, but it’ll actually be caffeine.

We also use our front 3 players to press the entire backline, gk included and the defensive midfielder. That's a lot of running...and we also sprint more because of the counter-press being our main creator of chances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is all this statistically accurate?
Also, how much worse than other teams is our injury record? Especial those that don't do caffeine doping.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We constantly run more kms and make more sprints than our opposition. There's always stats from Anfield Index about our pressing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What about other teams at our level, like Arsenal. Do we do it more than them?

how long have they been using caffeine for in sport.. should be fairly easy to compare since we know when the vacinne was released and whether there was a rise?
There’s studies going back to the early 2000’s that are available online.
In 2021 we had 63% of players registered with asthma too apparently.
Do some people have to pay for Google or something
There’s also a few studies on how caffeine can lead to increased muscle damage due to a variety of factors

Feyenoord coach Arne Slot interesting Liverpool.

I mean it could be us trying to be too smart again...or that no-one really wants to take the job
edwards disasterclass inbound
All journos leading with it so safe to say he's the front runner.
I suppose he's shown he can do it at 2 clubs but it being the Dutch league scares me.
I don't want the Hank Schrader lookalike
The thing about lots of our squad having asthma is totally made up as far as I know.
I think it's falsely reported just we can use the inhalers. Although I haven't seen them in a while tbh
