Mo needs to learn his place but I’m sure it’s sorted now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'll know perfectly well Klopp is gone after the next few games and that's why he acted out in the way he did. He would never have done that otherwise. It won't be sorted, in my opinion. These things take time and they don't have enough time working together to sort it.

I don't buy the Salah finished nonsense as we've been here before over the last few seasons and he's come up with the goods again after periods of being poor in front of goal. It's magnified now however as nobody else has stepped up, in terms of goalscoring.

Although if we got a big offer and could get a great replacement it would be good timing.

Salah should be gone in summer if the club have a clue. He won’t be resigning under Edwards and we can’t let yet another player leave on a free.

I don't really care about playings leaving on a free. Yes it works out sometimes but mostly what they give you in their last season is worth more than the money. Imagine PSG win the CL this season. That's worth more than the £200m they could have got for Mbappe and that's the most extreme example.

It’s not though is it. And we aren’t PSG.

Personally I’d be offering Salah an extension if he wants it.

Let’s get something straight here. It’s not him who’s suddenly decided he wants to leave. It’s not him who’s always preached about honouring a contract.

Have a think about it. Mo Salah is a consummate professional. He gets kicked to bits and never goes missing. He didn’t start that conversation Ive genuinely never seen him so angry. He’s not an emotional guy and I trust him.

I’ve seen Klopp blame the wind before he’ll question his own tactics.

Some of these lads, Salah included, will have signed contracts thinking Klopp will see out his contract.

Mo Salah is the greatest RW/RWF this clubs ever seen and imo he deserves some respect on his name. I dunno what Klopp said, but I bet a pound to the penny it was out of order.

Klopp is a manager. Him blaming the wind isn't the most absurd thing a manager has ever said. It's not even close. It comes with the territory. Klopp been a manager many decades now. Salah isn't the first player to be told something. I'm sure things are said all the time on football pitches but you rarely see a reaction like that towards your own manager.

Even trying to approach Klopp and had to be stopped by his teammates. What did he think he was gonna do if Nunez hadn't stopped him? Klopp would flick him off like a fly. Klopp sees what's happening and Salah's reaction to whatever he said and is clearly trying to avoid an embarrassing, for the cameras confrontation by folding his arms and turning away but Salah doesn't seem to consider that.

Your opinion is valid but for me I just don't see why it matters what was said as there's better, more effective ways to handle it no matter how bad it was.

Also, Klopp has been benching Salah and Salah himself has been in sheet form. I'd be surprised if Salah isn't frustrated at the moment so there's also the possibility that what was said wasn't too inflammatory and Salah just boiled over for a minute.

Let's not just assume something bad was said, or even wasn't. I'm sure more will come out in the coming weeks.

=====
What about putting some respect on Klopp's name? Klopp made Salah and Liverpool. Our greatest manager of the Prem era who saved us from not ever winning a Prem title and delivered number 6 plus a ton of other trophies.

Salah cannot be allowed to disrespect Klopp. Make no mistake, Klopp is the man and the man is Klopp. It seems to me most fans agree with that, but perhaps social media isn't the best gauge.

We always have stars in our team. They come and go, but great managers aren't easy to come by.

This really isn’t one of those situations where it’s worth vociferously defending either side. Both parties acted out of frustration (that’s been clear with Klopp recently). Salah should respect his manager more but they’re both off soon anyway. 3 more games left.

Klopp has looked properly miserable the last few games tbh.

Oh yeah, just rare to see him look so resigned. He must be so bitterly disappointed with how it’s all ending, like we all are.

I think some of you are massively overreacting. They had a spat on the touch line, so what? Everyone will be on edge at the moment because our season has just collapsed out of nowhere. To say anyone was out of order is ridiculous because no one has a clue what was said.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is though isn't it. Nobody said we were PSG so that's a pretty stupid comment. I was giving an example. Most clubs risk top players going on a free as it's worth more to them to have a final year, rather than sell. Who would you replace him with out of interest?

We certainly don't have the replacement at the club. I really like Elliott and think he'll become a top player with us but I like him more on the right of a three man midfield where he can get space to move to the right side but starting from the right, he doesn't really have the pace or goalscoring ability to be an effective replacement. That's not to say that might change under a different more possession based system that doesn't rely on quick direct attacks, in a kind of Bernardo Silva role but I'm just not seeing it.

All the obtainable top wide players are left sided, for me. We certainly don't want to make say £60m and then sign an Antony. Taking the money and going backwards in that position is the most likely scenario if Salah is sold. Which is why most clubs take the risk of top players entering their last season of their contract. They're not doing it for the fun of it, they're doing it for the club.

Just seen Salah video where he mentions fire and he laughing and joking. Can't believe Mamba lost the plot over this. He is easily offended.

I don't think Salah flinging his arms at Klopp, mouthing off and trying to approach him as if Klopp wouldn't wipe the floor with him, and having to be stopped by other players is something that can be dismissed like this.

It's also an indication that the players have let it rot because Klopp is leaving and that's wholly and unforgivably unprofessional. Salah has been especially crap.

I hope Edwards is taking notes and can see we need to now fully invest in the near future and the new direction under Slot, instead of hanging on to legends of old who behave like that when told something they don't like by the manager.

How many ways are you gonna try to trivialise it because it's Salah?

If it was Mane, Keita or someone like that you'd be coming at them all knives drawn and you know it.

Fair play to Nunez showing a bit of maturity yesterday my pushing Salah away.

Salah was a fool yesterday but I do think kash is right if you watch the video. Comes across a bit more as "I won't speak because whatever I say will be twisted".

Although saying that, if that was his intention maybe he should have clarified it later on social media.

I’d rather he didn’t clarify anything on social media and just kept it all in house. It’s done now, it’ll all be in the past.

When Milner had a spat with Klopp after being subbed did you see me make a big deal about it? No I didn't. Matter was resolved just like this matter was. Stop making yourself look like a fool with agendas.

So now it's not a big deal?

So all the hand flinging at Klopp and mouthing off for the cameras and was over something so trivial?

This argument doesn't make sense. Maybe he realised he facked up and will try to backpedal.
