honestly sick of injury prone players, root them out earlier and get rid imo. Cant be good for the team if theyre as talented as jota thiago and theyre constantly missing games. If we could get a good offer for him id cash in and get someone more robust. We were so lucky to have Mane and Salah, absolute machines.

Whats with trent getting injured all the time now too, piled muscle on now hes injured all the time?

Proper beacon of positivity aren’t you?

Having a certain amount of injury prone players is fine. Not easy to keep a squad of 24 players happy, with enough game time. As long as they're not the main players in the team which changes the whole dynamic of the system when they're out, like TAA, Salah, Mac Allister for example, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Jota has always been a backup at Liverpool. If he were fit all the time he'd likely want to leave or the person he replaced would want to leave, due to lack of game time.

Thiago up to his recent injury was similar. 30 games out of him in a season was fine. Obviously time may have caught up with him now.

Agreed about Jota and I was just about fed up with his injury record but as Robbing says, with a new manager coming in almost everything has to be suspended.

Jota is our most productive player in front of goal if you account for minutes played. He's scored more than Salah per minute on the pitch.

Perhaps best to wait and see one more season if he can improve his fitness record under a new regime. He can do Salah figures if we keep him fit for a season.

I don't agree he can hit Salah figures. He has always been a form player who has spurts of great form and then goes off it for several games. That may be down to injuries of course.

If he can stay fit I believe he can be a key player, but what goes against him is that he always needs at least 3 to 5 games to find form after an injury and in the last couple of years we have been lucky to have him fit at all...

It’s an interesting one for Trent.

If Real came in for him, I feel there is a good chance he’d go.

Not much for him to achieve here really, but no idea how he feels.

Can’t see Jota going, but the Nunez to Barca rumours are gathering pace.

Its a tough one with Nunez, he's so close to being a class act, but he just needs to sort out his finishing and his discipline whilst playing off the shoulder off defenders.

Either way he has one more season to prove his worth and its on him whether he wants to take that challenge on.

However in all honesty, under klopp Finishing has always been a bit of an issue, as I remember Mane and Salah would often miss sitters, but their heads would never drop and they always scored when it matters.

Not sure how anything is going to play out anymore.

There's no denying his quality, but he just can't stay fit

From what I've read on Slot, him and his team seem to meticulously plan the fitness of players and have very few injuries despite their playstyle.

Lets hope that translates to the quicker pace of the PL.

Agreed, and I even said we should sell him earlier in the season. Just saying that with the coming changes and his excellent record when fit, we should give him at least another season.

Yeah there’s been a massive outflow of information regarding his player preparation and recovery methods.

Very meticulous approach tbh
