Yes that's what I was saying was far-fetched. Jota wasn't being managed he's just been behind other players and rightly so, at least up until last season. Of course a case can be made for him starting games currently with Gakpo being poor most of the season and Nunez in poor form in front of goal but then he got injured again.
The comparison is far-fetched.

Had high hopes with Dom but for some reason he started to play like Henderson and then he fell off after such a bright start. I still think he will make it for us next season. He needs to play in the double pivot for me and maybe push Mac into 10 under Slot. Dom can't play 10 but has the game to play box to box midfield.

Jota was a starter in his second season with us but since we've signed Diaz and Nunez, I don't think he's nailed a starting position down.
Look at it this way, we've played 4 finals in the time Jota's been here:
FA Cup '22 - started on the bench and came on
EFL Cup '22 - bench and on
CL Final '22 - bench and on
EFL Cup '24 - injured
That doesn't shout 'starter' to me.

I wonder how many more years of failure it'll take at United for their sponsors to start dropping them, like when we had to go to New Balance because Adidas didn't renew.

Disappointed with him coming bk from tht injury i felt he got really lazy and sloppy, wasnt tracking runners etc. Polar opposite to how he started with us.
I think Dom just ran out of steam in the Prem. He'll get used to it.
yeah could be the case, hopefully is rather than attitude and mentality. he hasnt been good enough since coming back and rightly benched.

The chit show at United is most amusing
Check out robs McLaren article

I absolutely love how shiitt United are, and its gonna take an absolute miracle of a manager to turn that horror show around. Those players will see off any manager that makes them have to work hard too.
Its fecking fantastic Irish.

It’s so good.
I can see potential targets starting to turn them down now too, in fact it’s already happening.
The job to get done there is so large, and it will take a least a couple of years of exceptional recruitment to turn around I reckon.
Looking like no European footy for them too, which their sponsors won’t like.
If the get Southgate on top of all that lot then I’ll let out a bit of wee.

What would be funnier, them not qualifying for Europe at all or being in the Conference League? It's a tough one for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Conference league is a distraction. No point having them concentrating on just the league. Seeing them be sheet and ragdolled in the conference league by Betis, Valencia, Freiburg, Lazio, Napoli is a pleasure I cannot reject.

I wonder how many more years of failure it'll take at United for their sponsors to start dropping them, like when we had to go to New Balance because Adidas didn't renew.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think it’s already happened to a degree. They lose 25% simply for not being in the CL or sommat. They’re already alipping down the Deloitte money league.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Prime Henderson was key to our success, and at this moment in time Szboz isn't fit to lace Hendo's boots, however he still oozes potential
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dom can press and run like peak Hendo but we bought him to give us extra in the final 3rd and that is where he failed this season. Need to see if he can improve next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Disappointed with him coming bk from tht injury i felt he got really lazy and sloppy, wasnt tracking runners etc. Polar opposite to how he started with us.

I think Dom just ran out of steam in the Prem. He'll get used to it.

yeah could be the case, hopefully is rather than attitude and mentality. he hasnt been good enough since coming back and rightly benched.
