I can’t see someone attitude changing just like that. Just looked like a very long season for club and country to me.
I have zero concerns myself, his quality is obvious.
There was an article on Dom, he gave an interview to the Hungarian press. It was pretty candid about how he came to the UK with his girlfriend but they broke up and left the country, so he was left knowing nobody. Was saying it's been a really lonely time.
He's a talent, I'm sure he'll improve given a little bit of time to adjust to the country and the league.
Anyways how much better do we look as a team getting Salah on the ball as quickly as possible in the space between the CB and FB…facking night and day performances
Getting bodies in the box and putting the ball in is the difference. Helped Mo being up vs Emerson Royal. But yeah the chances Robbo and Trent had in their box showed the difference. Gakpo being in there for the header. Elliott backed Mo up really well too he was brilliant winning the ball and pressing.
Spurs gave it a go to begin with but we were better and when the first went in it was easy right up until 70 min mark where we switched off unprofessionally.
Elliot’s development has been one of the highlights this season, for me. He’s come on leaps and bounds tactically and technically to add to his jiiiiizzzzz inducing tekkers
we had 3/4 bodies in their box when we put the ball in. when gakpo had it that run by mo back post was simple but class. when mo headed it in he could have headed it back for a free tap in, just bodies in there it was refreshing. ofc spurs are more open than most but even packed defences we need to ask more questions of and if they defend it all well so be it.
so thats third secured for us now right, surely? i didnt really check.

missed 2 sitters didnt he a 1v1 and that absolute sitter Nunez would have been proud of.
Ffs Salah.
Only another goal and assist.

Trent played as a right back too and no inverting so Mo had an overlap option. Elliott also got the ball quick to Mo which kept him on the game.
The sitter was more down to him expecting the Spurs defender to clear the ball but the defender fluffed it and he did not react to the mistake.

All this talk of giving one more season for players to prove themselves is pretty ridiculous imo, and just comes across as fickle entitlement.
I guess it’s partly down to social media where people go way overboard and throw criticism and abuse around like it’s confetti. And maybe too much Football Manager, where players are sold at the press of a button.
You wouldn’t Salah is having a better season that Sala really, but he is and he’ll end up with a trophy too.
On Arsenal, you wonder how they'll cope next year assuming they miss out on the title again as their best team in 20 years will once again be trophyless.
We missed out in heart-breaking fashion twice but we also had trophies to comfort us. It's a lot easier to go again next season when you just won the CL.

Trent still went walk about a couple times but he picked his moments a lot better…not every time the ref blew his whistle.
He still did all the things people usually complain about

I remember we were getting praise for going head to head with City but it all changed after that Kompany goal which more or less sealed City the title we were getting bottle jobs, Klopp trophy dodger jibes etcs
However a few days later we broke the internet and sent shockwaves around the world and then knew CL was ours when Spurs got into the final.
Arsenal on the other hand will be trophyless and they will get loads of abuse when City are confirmed champions. The pressure on Arteta will be extreme next season.
Yeah I don't think there will be pressure on him at all. If you're competing with City, you're doing a good job, whether you win or lose.

He’ll get criticism from the usual keyboard fans, but there’s no doubt at all that he’s improved Arsenal again from last season. I’d be delighted with the progress if I was an Arsenal fan.
Arteta has spent nearly £600m while Klopp in his 9 years is just over £800m. He will get questioned for sure. Don't forget they have the best defense, best midfield and best attack in league according to gooners.
