You can tell he's learning from all of them because he has habits of Matip, Konate and VVD. He's not put a single foot wrong since that misplaced pass in the Utd game, that's why you need patience with young players. So happy for him, starting ahead of Konate now too

Really though Thiago was going to be difference maker in the title race, with his control and dominance in midfield. How wrong I was.

He probably would have been useful second half of the season but we had to play him against Arsenal in quite difficult circumstances, real shame.

Replacing Gini with him could have elevated our game but availability has turned out to be the biggest difference between them, Gini was and Salah is testament to that

We still finish third.

Third is where we should be, the manner of how we finished third is tough to swallow but it’s been a really good season overall.
