He may not be the LCB/LB hybrid we might need but definitely excels at most things we look for in a CB

Half of that will be offset be the Gomez fee though….

For sure, I just can’t see us spending £60m+ on a long term squad player. It’d be a first for us.

Fair one, but hopefully they’ll want to keep VVD as there’ll be so much he can teach the others and that could be a big long term benefit. I think we’d regret letting him leave.

I didn't realise that Pep had taken Vitor Matos and Andreas Kornmayer with him to Salzberg. Good start from him so far. Will be a decent loan move for Bajcetic but that is a weak league. If he really is the one then we should have sent him to La Liga.

Badgertits needs minutes though. He'll be guaranteed that at Salzburg.
