Seems like he's being offered to Utd every window for like the last four years, which would make me wary.

Also, apparently we've started contract talks with Diaz too. Prob overdue, he's on less than Nat Phillips

I said before that the club just wanted to see how some players started the season, both attitude and form, before looking at contracts. Strange things can happen to players when a new manager comes in, sometimes they just don’t take to them or their methods.

Clearly doesn’t seem to be the case here, everyone looks well up for it, so things are starting to move. And how surprising that it coincides with the end of the window…..

ngl the pessimist in me thinks trent and virgil seem too relaxed and happy in form and enjoying it. Like they've accepted its their last season here and are just gna give it their all. Trent not looking happy being subbed made me think is that cause he wants to play every minute in his last season with us? way he was smiling and giving the finger to utd fans booing him off the bus into OT added to that feeling too. Can really see him ending up in spain if Real are interested and jude persuades them to get him.

Hope im wrong i'd be gutted.

The Salah interview sounded like a come lets talk plea. I genuinely felt he's happy here his fam are he believes hes good for this level for few more years and would like to extend or set more records.

Ofc flip side is they know eachother, surely theres a gentlemens agreement talks will be had no need to worry. Theres surely trust there between all parties theyve been together long enough had a few contracts before etc.

One other thing is though is its Edwards, im convinced he wasnt happy us giving hendo and older players long contracts and was one of the reasons he walked away. Then flipping that again as gr8 as hendo was for us hes no mo salah or trent, and his injury record in comparison...

Salah and VVD need to be exceptions to the over 30s thing that FSG usually stick by, and I think they will be. I reckon all three of them get new contracts.

Off to Egypt Monday for a sneaky week away with my youngest (20) kid. 35-38 Celsius all week

He works for easyjet and got us a great deal in sharm el sheikh.

Now that is hot, factor 50 all week for me!

You having more experience doesn't stop you from being a massive caaant though. Egypt isn't a stinking hole no matter how much experience you have, and you're doing a disservice making someone go there and stay the whole time in their hotel when there's more sights there than almost anywhere else in the world. It's ridiculous and pathetic tbh. Furthermore, there's nothin more interesting than exploring and experiencing other cultures and ways of life.
