Guarantee when we drop points or lose a game, it will be “the honeymoon period is over!”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I already saw a viral tweet yesterday saying "I still think Liverpool will drop off".
No sh!t, it's been 3 games

Let's not forget that City have won 3 while resting Rodri and Foden. A fresh Rodri could mean another title.

Pep said the first 3 games were their pre season aswell which is pretty eerie.

Apparently refs buggered-up and Gakpo should have had a penalty against Utd, someone start the log of ref errors for 24/25

That was definitely a decision that was influenced by the scoreline and context of the match situation at the time. Should never happen but it does regularly. That being said, had it been 1-0 to United at the time, I reckon they still don’t give it.
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
was that when gakpo did that thing players do to win free kicks all the time? step across the player and force the foul?
i felt it was the right decision if its that one on the edge of the box imo.

Ah now i see the issue with it. Ref indicated play on so he felt it was a foul and played advantage.

Disband the PGMOL and put to pasture anyone associated with them.

Was a clear pen. Taylor has this habit where the score influences him. I remember in the 5-0 he gave Pogba yellow for a clear leg breaker on Naby. Luckily VAR made him overturn that clanger.
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
not gonna be too hard on taylor he did some brilliant refereeing for our 2nd n 3rd goals. Loans of refs would have been soft and given free kicks im sure of it.
Also he played adv its VARs job to tell him it was in the box.

Taylor is more pro Man City than United which says it all. He is my bro in laws neighbour and he tells me that he is no Altrincham fan.

Yeah...faulting that referee performance is just nitpicking tbh

Arsenal fans learning how many man city pro refs there are from in and around manchester Kavanagh first. wait till they get tierney all the time and the others.

Agreed, just thought I'd mention it in here
On the topic of the 0-5, we could have gone for more but definitely slowed down as Utd were lashing-out towards the end. Quite funny thinking it could have been a worse score-line than 5.
Also that cream kit is one of my favs from last few years, gorgeous kit

Anyone order kits from dhgate before? They are fakes but look better than the kits you can buy from Sports direct.
