I wanted Ugarte last season before he signed for PSG. Far too early to judge him yet, especially in this abysmal Ten Haag system.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’d go as far to say it’s a bit stupid tbh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep this. He was poor yesterday but I think he will be a good signing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ugarte ass kissers in the mud and licking their wounds, convincing themselves.
Another day, another post from Mamba, the boards worst poster, being an obnoxious cuuuuuuunt. You are genuinely the biggest d!ckhead I’ve ever seen on 606.

Amazing really. Maybe they’re waiting for the international break.
Villa needs to do the league a solid
This United season so far screams Brendan Rodgers 15/16 so far. Carra was right, they got new staff in, spent loads of money, and are even worse for it. International break will come after their defeat to Villa, he’ll be gone.
Utd are absolutely made for Villa too, that could get ugly too.
Joshua Fellaini is a really average player, not sure what they were thinking when signing him. The other signings were understandable, but all gambles.

I was chatting to a Utd fan about Mbuemo actually, and he said how Utd signing him would have been better than signing Sancho or Antony. It’s hard to disagree.
Utd must be well down the pecking order for players now I reckon.

Bit harsh writing off Serie As young player of the season already. I dont think they signed too poorly this window just gone tbh felt it was decent in areas they needed strengthening. Also i wouldnt be looking at the players in a utd team that literally has no system and are quite frankly a mess... especially ones been there 2 minutes.

I reckon he might get the season actually. Unless the wheels completely fall off and relegation is a possibility.
He's clearly only there because they couldn't find anyone better to take the job and nothing has changed in 3 months.
Perhaps that's wishful thinking but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a full year of ETH.

Him & Mainoo as a partnership will never work though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's a ball winner, he should be playing in front of the defence with two ahead of him, making the simple passes to one of those two or the full backs. No point playing him in a two when he's not good on the ball. From what I was watching that's what they were attempting to do but they couldn't get out, nobody was taking control and there were even several occasion when they passed it back and forwards between the same two players until somebody panicked and lost it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that's actually not Ugarte's style of play. Ideally for Utd it would be a holding player to dictate the play from deep with Ugarte or Mainoo providing the energy and running and then Bruno being given freedom to do what does.
They've been need a holding midfielder since Eriksen dropped out of the side but they've been getting it horribly wrong. It's glorious to watch
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It absolutely is his style of play. The issue is that's not how they want to use him which resulted in them not being able to get out against Spurs. They needed somebody in there who could get on it and pass the ball. Instead they kept giving it back, which of course was also due to Spurs pressing well.
No point Urgarde providing running when he can't do anything with it. He needs players in midfield with him who are doing the running, whilst he mops up and gets it to them.
Bologna on Wednesday and surely an opportunity to rotate a bit? Midtable in Serie A with 7 points from 6 games. Sounds a bit like United really.
I read somewhere online that 4 wins in the group phase is practically a guaranteed top 8 spot in the new format, and 10 points should be enough for the play offs.
Important we do the business midweek as after that we have Leipzig away, Madrid and Leverkusen at home and Girona away in the CL before on paper some easier games against Lille and PSV.
Get 3 points on Wednesday and we're in a good spot for the harder run of fixtures which should hopefully take the edge off them a bit. That Madrid game is right before we play City in the league for example.
I don't think I'd ever seen Ugarte play before his move to Utd so never really had an opinion on him as an option for us. It's really not been an impressive start though. Perhaps it's because he's being overwhelmed by runners but he looks slow to me.

He's meant to be their big saviour as well.
He played at the Copa, made team of the tournament, but then missed his entire preseason and like others have said, I’m not sure Utds midfield is the easiest to settle in the Prem with atm.
We’ll see but I rate him, and for good reason (not 103mins of prem football).

They lost Motta to Juve and Arsenal took Califiori. This is probably one of the easiest Italian sides we will ever face in the CL.
We probably could tinker like rest Konate, play Jones instead of Szobo and maybe Chiesa for Mo.
