Nunez did alright doesnt really press with intelligence well but last two games his hold up plays looked a big improvement. He headed it up to himself a few times last time, shown some intelligent hold up and link up past few games. Was unlucky not to get a 2nd Gulacsi with a good reaction save.

Yeah I think Szob will benefit from some time on the bench when Harvey is back, but he’s still a superb player. I think he’s just struggling with pressure and is low on confidence

Poor is harsh imo but he's definitely not playing to his potential.

His passing is still decent in terms of accuracy but probably a little risk averse. Press is good, movement good. Main problem is basically threat in the opposition box - his passing is around it, his runs aren't into it often enough and when he does get there his shooting has been poor. All needs to improve.

Tbh I don't think we'd be getting the results we are if our ACM were poor. I don't think Slot would select him if he were playing poorly. I do think he's capable of much more though, he's been very average.

Its the best he's played for like 6 months (including the Chelsea game).

He just needs to follow up with more of the same.
I've never doubted his ability like most kneejerkers, its just his mindset that has let him down.

Well they paid like 30 odd million for them himself so its more understandable? As i said though no1 stood out vs us other than the keeper, who bailed their cbs out on a few occassions and looked fairly scared of Nunez.

He looks more settled, hes had less chances but his overall plays seems much better recently. If he can learn to press with the intelligence Jota does he'd be a top option for Slot.

Also I think Nunez should have had a penalty tbh, I know he may have ran the ball out but that was a lot of contact from the defender

It was a stonewall pen, one of the worst decisions ive seen VAR refuse to get involved in since the doku kung fu sheit at Anfield or the Odegaard handball.

The ref had such a bad game as did his team that they looked like they'd slot in as prem refs with ease. The mac10 yellow for diving was baffling.

tbf it didnt look like one from the front so the refs view but people calling it a dive need to watch this angle. Clearly stupid challenge from behind and Salah takes a knee to the hammy.

Linesman the issue here had a clear view of it, Colwil definitely got away with it.

For me it looked soft and Salah wanting it but if its given then how can you have any complaints for that rash and silly challenge from behind?
