Not for me. My wife convinced me to go shopping with her and I had one condition. 12:30 we'd be sitting at the bar watching the match and then continue on if need be. So now I'll be going bloody shopping with no incentive.

Doesnt work like that anymore does it? competition specific.

Id have rather we played. We'll beat them comfortbaly. All this does is gives the others a wee boost when they cut the gap. Rather points on the board than a game in hand but it is what it is. Nowt we can do about the weather.

Tbh I’d rather play them with Alisson, Jota, Bradley, Konate, Tsimikas, Mac, Chiesa in contention to play, we looked knackered after Newcastle this is a great break for us.

Anyone hopeful of Fulham getting something tomorrow? Been in decent form recently. And Spurs v Chelsea, anything can happen in that game. Palace is City's bogey team. Will be an interesting weekend.

Its also evertons 3rd game in a week. They are a team who have nowhere near the squad we do. Even with our injuries probs 4 wouldve missed out on starting in Ali, konate mac and jota. We have kelleher gomez szob and nunez to fill. More than enough to see them off.

I think theyd have been knackered too today. Sure it will have been the usual blood and thunder a merseyside derby brings to begin with but I was confident wed pick them off as the game wore on based on the 3 games in 1 week.

Whenever we play them later in the season it'll have to be a midweek game so it won't really be any different, they'll have 3 games that week too.

Yeah. And it'll be game 2 of 3 that week. Not game 3 of 3.

Considering we should rotate heavily for Girona, having 10 days between games at this stage of the season is massive.
