All 24 or 25 all would be good additions, Cunha and Kudus have that explosive power about them Cunha has more overall about him he's spraying balls about doing some great defensive work too

Seems strange. A lot of rumours that we he wants to go in January to play more and I can see it happening sadly. Hopefully he gets a chance in the cup games before and impresses to the point we change our minds on it.

We have 5 cup games in January alone, highly likely to have 6 if we beat Accrington. 2 of those are dead rubber CL matches. He’s got to be playing a good number of those if he has a future here, otherwise what’s the point having him in the squad at all.

We definitely need someone to rotate with Grav because he’s played every game so far in the league and Champions league. Obviously Endo isn’t rated by slot, but Zubimendi coming in would be lovely.

Centre back is a concern with Gomez out for a while now, hopefully Konate and Bradley are back next week though. Tsimikas is back now to give Robbo a break.

I’ve been thinking that we’d get a DM in and at a push a CB. Might happen but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we signed no one, with Slot wanting to prove himself.

Saying we need to be doing major business in January is just fantasy stuff imo. It’s just not goi g to happen.

Not fantasy stuff at all for me, to be in this position and not do all you can to sure up a glorious opportunity would be sheer negligence. And if we end up losing out on this opportunity after doing so then questions will be asked, even of Slot if hes happy to accept such a lack of ambition.

Not expecting them to disrupt too much but esp considering the lack of business in the summer etc i expect them to have been working on a plan all summer and since on backing the manager as soon as possible. Identify the key areas we need strengthening and a bunch of targets and ideally the wheels have already been put in motion. I dont think its asking too much, its pretty clear where we need strengthening most etc and compared to those around us we've spent pennies and should be no issue financially.

If we go back in for Zubimendi then you'd imagine he would come here. Let's see.

DM is the only solely needed position so Grav can rotate given Endo isn't rated all that much there in the league and CL.

CB if Gomez is out for 2/3 months, but I don't think we need any actual starting XI upgrades until the summer.

Endo looked pretty good yesterday when he came on.

CB is needed more in Jan for me.

I think he's been fine all season but seems Slot doesn't rate him there.

Maybe yesterday will change his mind given he played a good 30+ minutes.

Endo does fine but his lack of pace and speed on the ball are a weakness. Im scared everytime hes on the ball as he wants too much time and hasnt the pace or speed of thought to buy him that time and often when hes releasing a ball its 50/50 whether hes losing it or not. Can see why Slot isnt keen. That said hes been solid enough for us as a signing.

Ideally theres still a lot of interest in him and he realised his game times not worth staying for and we can get a decent offer and upgrade on someone Slot will use more.

I think Endo is a viable option!

We maybe short at CB, depending on how long Gomez is out for..

But the way I see it and have for a while, is that we obviously didn't need signings last summer and we may not now.. So only spend big when we need to!
