I can’t decide who I’d rather sell, Jota or Nunez, if we were to bring in a true finisher like Gyokeres. Nunez seems the more likely option to be sold but Jota is barely available anyway.

I do think we need a proper CF but it’s not a priority. I’d rather we signed a CDM and CB first. I really hope we address one of those two in January.

In order of priority for me:

CDM
CB
LB
ST

We’ve not had an out and out striker for years. We need so much more from our forwards than just a focal point. It’s only Salah that occupies solely one position, the others constantly operate in a variety of positions/roles. We’d have to completely change how we play and why would we do that when you consider how Slot has started?

And we’re top scorers in the league btw, having played a game less.

Don't believe that and it doesn't make sense to let him go in Jan. Got a decision to make in the summer if he still doesn't show any improvement though.

It’s all in hand, don’t worry. Trent’s likely leaving, but that’s probably been known for ages. I’d be astonished if the other two sign a contract with anyone else in January.

Yeah, VVD has said there's no deadline to get it sorted and Salah is obviously itching to stay. Can't see either leaving.

They’ll be spread across the front three and our MF, like it’s always been.

There is no way we’re going to sign a traditional CF.

Depends on your definition of traditional CF, I wouldn’t class the likes of Osimhen and Gyokeres in the true CF mould like Haaland as they actually get involved.

I agree, couldn’t see us with a Haaland up front.

At the moment they are not seeing any offers from the club so it's still up in the air. In a couple of days they will be offered generational wealth to sign for other clubs and you have to factor is what if they get a ACL injury. All that money goes into flames. We have 3 leading players with no contract protection and they could be Matip'd.

And they seem more than happy to do so thankfully.

They are playing for there legacy despite being poorly treated by the club.

Trent we saw was not prepared to go the extra mile against Fulham. He is probably not willing to get injured for his future.

Tell me Kash, how can you say with an ounce of certainty that the club have made no offers? You’re using Salah’s after match interviews as evidence as this but he hasn’t actually said anything. The last time he said he hadn’t had an offer was back in August I think, and soon after the negotiations apparently started. Same with VVD, who has literally said nothing for months.

Stop making narratives up.

I guess Trent is slightly different as he seems like he might actually leave, unlike the other two.

And they’re not being poorly treated by the club at all. They’re still earning millions and playing every game without a shred of evidence that negotiations are anything other than amicable.
