Would also expect it's Diaz that makes way too, a creative 10/winger would prob get Nunez firing tbh. I'd guess that's the plan rather than cutting the loss and going for Isak etc

I think we need players in other positions before we wax money on a winger that quite frankly we don’t need.

Chelsea are probably going to be in some bother. Is it worth looking at Nkunku? I like him, injuries seems to have cleared up a touch, albeit when not playing.

Apparently Nkunku was the one the transfer team wanted but the coaching staff preferred Nunez having seen him up close. Surprised how it has gone for Nkunku thus far but not sure he's shown he'd work out better than Nunez has, with the limited game time has has had.

This team seems to need a different type of striker, one who can link play, rather than a traditional number 9. I expect Nunez would hit much better numbers in a team who aren't so reliant on controlling possession. Difficult not to like Nunez but if he doesn't fit, then it's best we replace him with somebody who does.

Although this apparently came from Ian Graham who somebody posted above stated Isak was the preference over Nunez.

not sure a creative winger, which we already have would mean nunez would learn to suddenly finish, hes had plenty set up on a plate for him already, maybe saudi can bail us out

We don’t need bailing out, I think we’d get £50m fairly easily tbh

I think he could have made it to a degree under Klopp, but I think Slot is asking different things of him and he’s struggling.

Also wonder with us looking at this Napoli guy if we know that Diaz is off this summer? Their was plenty of noise about Barca last summer, and wonder if we’ve told him we want one more season, which could explain why he’s not had a pay rise.

Would make sense tbh. His wages are an absolute anomaly within the squad, you'd imagine if he had a long term future then it would have been sorted.
