Groves was 5-2 ahead and winning the 8th when he got knocked out.
My opinion is fact
Groves 5-2 a head
Try froch 5-2 a head

I had Groves 4-3 up. To be fair to Froch though, he looked much better than before. Really thought Groves would only improve from last time but he clearly didn't expect that type of performance from Froch.
I had Froch 5-2 ahead, maybe 4-3 but the 8th was Groves best round, it was the first round he was clearly winning until he got knocked the fook out

Doesn't really matter who was ahead.. Groves got knocked the fück out!
So DeGale is mandatory to Froch's IBF title?.. Is it 120 days Hearn has to arrange it before it goes to a purse bid? (Or Froch gives the title up which he might coz DeGale could hurt him and beat him comfortably)
coz DeGale could hurt him and beat him comfortably

lol
DeGale has the skills but doesn't have the heart to beat Froch, would be a waste of time Froch might as well fight in Vegas now
Wouldn't mind seeing
Chavez JR v Froch in vegas
Degale v Kessler ( winner fights froch )
Winning of Froch v Degale/Kessler fights ward
Groves v Eubank JR

Kamran Groves was landing a few punches but Froch was landing with more combinations and body shots. 4 or 5 of the rounds were close and could have gone either way, 3 of then I think I gave to Froch because he was on the front foot pushing Groves back taking the initiative. 2 Froch won clearly, Groves was winning the 8th before he for KO'd. Froch never looked uncomfortable until the 8th

I had music on watching the fight, when I saw Jim Watt's 5-1 score I had that score already. some of the rounds were close, maybe it comes down to bias who you give the rounds to because I wanted Froch to win. On this thread some people were scoring it so different to each other.
the first 6 rounds might have been how Groves wanted the fight to unfold but he wasn't dominating or clearly winning rounds imo, most of them were close. Groves was starting to take control before the KO though so his tactics weren't bad

Everything was going to plan for Groves, Khan summed it up brilliantly. Froch was being easily outboxed and Groves was landing cleaner.
----------------------
It was a diificult fight to score, particularly the first 4rounds, but for you to state that Froch was being clearly outboxed is bs. Groves landed a few clean right hands and the occasional left, whilst Froch was the busier and more aggressive fighter and took control of the centre of the ring. Groves was having more success in round and seven and eight before he got sparked out, however, to say that he was "clearly winning the fight" is false.
Unsurprisingly Watt's score was way out, but Froch never really looked in that much danger. The fight ended earlier than expected but the right man won.
Froch wasn't busier lol, he was doing literally nothing but walking forward and missing jabs, while Groves was landing jabs.
If you look over on boxingscene a lot of people had Groves clearly ahead
As said, the fight was a difficult one to score. Groves probably landed the cleaner shots, but Froch was more aggressive, coming forward and had better control of the centre of the ring.
You're painting a picture that Groves was way ahead, but for that's just not the case. It was still a pick 'em fight.
Then Boooom.... it was over.
