Italia 90 probably. Read on the BBC the other day how it was "widely regarded as the worst World Cup". By who???? Nice to see from here it's not just me that enjoyed it. Just because it had the lowest number of goals for a WC doesn't mean it was boring!
Oh and T-Bone, that's not saying much Maradona has spent most of his life on another planet! I think trying to poison the Brazil left-back at half time was going a little far though.
It was boring though. Only Cameroon lit it up, the rest was utter shîte.

You must have a good memory!
Anything over a decade old, I think my brain condenses the information into highlights.
For me, if England do well, I'll always find the tournament exciting though.
1990 is actually bottom of my list. Found it incredibly tedious. I suppose the comparisons to 86 might have made it a bit worse too. '94 I didn't enjoy that much either. Sometimes though, it can depend on which games you watch, if you don't watch them all.

Why is it on every article Winston(DannyJeeves) goes onto, he has to derail it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm presuming he's the online equivalent of a football 'firm' - pretending to actually have some interest in the game but really just wanting to fight everyone.

Back again?
I'm confident that my posting history contradicts your view.
Yours? Well as I said, don't contribute for weeks and then spend your time posting off topic when you do.
The hypocrisy apparently knows no bounds.
Interesting to see the odd Liverpool fan still banging on about some other user of a forum - it's actually been years now!
A nice reminder of how great that filter button is.

Oh Winston, Winston, Winston, you are a funny old sausage. I do hope you're actually not as angry as you sound, you'll give yourself a heart attack. I'm very sorry that me asking you to shut up (which was purely because you were bunging up this thread with your pointless argument) has enraged you so, but given comments on this very thread by others it's hardly the first time you've acted in this fashion. I'm not even going to bother explaining why your arguments against me are baseless, it's obvious to anyone reading this (although you're right, I don't comment much so if that's an actual issue then again I can only apologise).
I just hope, as I say, that you aren't really this irate in reality and that this is just some kind of weird internet persona you adopt to annoy people and, presumably, drive them away. If this is the case, as far as this thread is concerned you've succeeded in part as I'll leave you to it, much as your posts have amused me I'm bored of you now. Have fun!
"I'll respond once only to you as otherwise I'll just be sinking to the same level but nobody comes on here to read two silly little boys having pathetic little playground arguments. It's not the place to do it."
He then goes onto post a further three times, culminating (possibly?) in the above, complete with forum clichés about being angry.

This is now your 5th post in 3 weeks, I believe. Four of them have been completely off topic and argumentative.
The idea that you're in any position to be lecturing me on forum behaviour would be laughable, were it not so cringeworthy.
I'll stick to discussing football topics and I'll leave you to your bizarre ramblings.
Cheers!
