Cannot believe Binny is in this side. Can we not find a better seamer who can bat at 8. The guy is ridiculously poor and living off his father's name.

Falling apart as we always do. Very poor from Dhoni.

No messing about here..when India collapse..they do it properly

haha sharma the aim of cricket is to protect the wicket.

Great fightback from England. At 345-5 India would've been looking at 500 on this deck. Now England will hope to have them all out for less than 360/370

India have messed this up on a very flat track.

With that tail, Jadeja and Dhoni had to stick around

Didn't take long for Binny to get binned

Binny I am astounded at is even anywhere near this side. A useless player who specialises in neither batting or bowling and is living off Roger Binny's name. Dhoni's run out was stupidity on his part and Jadeja was just a brain freeze. A strong tail is a vital component of every good side and we don't have one.

Nice partnership here.

I've probably jinxed it now...

400 up for India. The skinny frame of Bhuvi has shown a lot more fight than some of our established batsman. Take a bow son.

Excellent last wicket partnership here

facking typical England

do all the hard work only for two rabbits to put 50 pn for the last wicket

To be fair to England it is a ridiculously flat pitch if the number 11 is playing the ball with a stride forward. Combined with Bhuvi's ability with the bat and it's been unfortunate for England after that burst after lunch.

are you watching it Kav?

does it look an easy pitch to bat on?

These 2 can bat all day on this track. England really missing a decent spinner. This is what they get for playing a negative side. Should have tried Monty or gone to Kerrigan again.

Yeah I am. It looks ridiculously easy to bat on which shows how badly India's middle order messed up to be honest. Moeen Ali looks badly out of sorts and the longer this goes on it could get ugly.

It wouldnt say its easy easy to bat on.

1 min the ball bounces the next it doesnt. Its just a very slow pitch which i assume would suit india.

England NEED 5 bowlers. Yes we need a spinner but we NEED 5 bowlers whether or not there is a spinner good enough. We can't keep flogging these bowlers into the ground, it will send Jimmy & Broady into early retirement.

Even if we decide that there is no spinner in the country of acceptable standard then we should bite the bullet and pick 5 seamers.

There is NO REASON that Stokes shouldn't be batting a #6. Jordan should be playing and they should have made a decision over which batsmen to harshly drop (assuming it wouldn't be Cook).

Moeen is a handy 6th bowler, but in no way shape or form will he ever be a 5th bowler and primary spinner.

who do you drop In the top 6? obviously not moeen because u say hes a 6th bowler.. so its root or ballance?
