Can Cookie blame on Kp now?..

Can that clown Mr. Downtown talk to press about Cookie's awesome batting n degrade their ex-best batsman?..

Can Broady, Andy, Stoky, n that baldy gurl Strausy blame last wicket partnership on Kp as he may have distracted this amazin team with pure work ethics?..

On a serious note, why some folks going hard on Binny.. I am not fan of Dhoni's captainship in tests but I commend him for giving chance and India going with 5bowlers as our weakest link is in that department.

We have given numerous chances to Ishy/Jaddu/Nohit Sharma for the last 2-3 yrs n we all know their failures pretty well.. It's the first test for Binny and at-least wait to comment on his talent. If anyone noticed he did play quite well in warm-up matches n due to him we won in recent Odi series in Bangladesh. Now I knw folks here don't respect much the Bangladeshi team but the pitches were not easy to bat on and he did lot better than other players. Also he bowled an amazing spell and won us the game which we had almost lost.

Plz hold your horses, until then enjoy da game pals.

You have got to feel sorry for Michael Carberry. Selected to play in the overseas tour against the Aussies on super quick bouncy tracks with Johnston steaming down at you.

Manages to be the 2nd highest run scorer for England gets dropped for the Flat easy tracks against the might Sri Lankan and India bowling attacks.

Now Robson, Ballance and Root have a cushy slow flat track to get off to a great start in test cricket.

Looks like Balance is already playing for a draw. 18 runs off 80 balls on a flat track

Brilliant session for England. Kohli has had a shocker. Really should have caught that. Difference between the sides so far; England's superior fielding.

moring session 31 overs/ runs 88 /run rate 2.84

Boss carberry would never have made it..
I gotta say.. Robson looks a good player.. Thank you aussies..

Bit harsh on Carberry. He looked quite assured opening the batting in Oz. That's probably the toughest bowling attack he's likely to ever face and he did ok. He did get to 30/40 and go out a few times but was better than most of England's batsmen.

I think his age counted against him. He's what, 33/34? The selectors obviously want players for the future.

hmmm... another dubious lbw decision. Going to be a frustrating series.

Robson out, though there was an inside edge apparently.

Why they are not using DRS is beyond me

you and the commentators are blind. never an inside edgr

posted on 11/7/14

I presume you arent actually watching.

posted on 11/7/14

You can see a tiny deflection. The ball very slightly deviates away from the bat. He hit it.

posted on 11/7/14

Please go to specsavers mate. You are 100% wrong

posted on 11/7/14

The commentators have now said there was no bat after 20 replays.

posted on 11/7/14

Sehwag,

I'm not watching, but bbc and cricinfo saying there was an inside edge

posted on 11/7/14

erm, I'm not sure specsavers can do much to help me.

'what seems to be the problem?'
'well, i seem to be seeing things too clearly'

posted on 11/7/14

the commentators are focussing too much on hotspot and snicko which is inconclusive as the ball passes bat and pad at the same time.

You can see a tiny deviation after it hits the bat.

posted on 11/7/14

I can guarantee within 5 mins, they will change their mind.

There was a noise and a mark on hotspot apparently. What more evidence do you want?

posted on 11/7/14

Why do we bow down to this lot?

posted on 11/7/14

the problem is the hotspot mark on the bat is almost too big - the Sky commentators can't believe it to be true.

There was an edge. Oh well. I'm sure this decision will balance out.

you guys are so biased its unbelievable.

I've no idea

It's the arrogance of the Indian Cricket Board. It's thier way or no way. A smaller nation would never be able to enforce it.

no idea why they're against it...its bizarre

No idea. Should be a universal use of DRS. No exceptions. Imagine in the world cup final Germany saying they don't want to use goal line technology. FIFA wouldn't change it.
