If they prepare a wicket at lords like they did against Sri-lanka.at Lords again.. Ive finished with cricket. Leave green grass on. If you lose the toss andare force to bat first . so what? at least yer have some mental some form of attacking intent.. you know you need to bat well to get a score.
We don't have a spinner of note. play with 5 seamers and leave green grass on the wicket.. But nope Lords will be flat again.

Peace out..

It's ridiculous that DRS isn't being used.

Pathetic from the ICC that they let the incompetent BCCI dictate. Absolutely pathetic. There have only been 17 wickets in this series (out of possible 200) and already numerous poor decisions.

Yep, can see another shocking Lords pitch.

Just watched the Prior decision again.

Incredible decision. He was no where near it. I would be fuming if I were Matt.

Shocking Lords pitch?

So, the toss was fixed for this test?
If England win the Toss at Lords..are they favorites?

It seems the pitch has made a miraculous change over night.

Yep really bad decision for Prior just like Vijay dismissal.

They werent even close which gives the umpires no excuse.

posted on 11/7/14

Ok I accept robson maybe a 50/50/.... But prior and the Vijay shouldn't have been given out for both dismissals.. They can be avoided..
YOU SHOULDNT BE GIVEN OUT IN 2014 TO BALLS THAT WILL BE 2 FOOT OVER THE STUMPS.
Or in Priors case no where near the ball.

Surely Dhoni knew Prior didn't touch it. It wasn't even close. Poor from MS.

There was a noise, however Dhoni was up to the stumps so u never know.

Caught ,cant blame Dhoni most wicketkeepers would have appealed. You just get the benefit of not being able to be recalled. yer out and that's it.

Robson imo was out, didnt look like he knicked it.

Lefty, I actually think the Indians have done very well this afternoon, and there is no doubt they have been the better team in this test and will probably go on to win it.

However, there are questions to be answered from the groundsmen.

How on earth are you comparing vijay to prior decision????

Vijay was a poor decision - could be deemed clipping bails at worse
Prior - shocking shocking shocking beyond belief

posted on 11/7/14

Boss, I think he knicked it. Am not being biased or anything.

Hot spot showed an inside edge for the Robson dismissal. He was very unlucky.

dont be daft afridi.

Vijay was going about 4-6 inches over the bails.
Prior - ball was 3-4 inches away from the bat

England could have a 100 run 10th wicket partnership yet

Not everything revolves with your type of analysis. Both were bad decisions and move on instead of trying to put fuel in fire.

Ur clearly not listening to the commentors. that mark from hotspot was quite big, a knick that big and u would see the ball deviate. Ball didnt move at all which suggest the bat hit the pad.

Boss,

Vijay wasn't out, but if you're going to compare at least compare with like for like... Vijays was 'closer' than priors dismissal. No where near the same...

If you have played the game then that analysis is pretty much incorrect

From Cricinfo:

"On seeing the DRS replays, Ian Botham is saying it was a good decision," .. "So I don't know how you can conclude that the DRS would have surely overturned it. There is no way that the replays are conclusive about an edge. In fact quite the opposite." There is a school of thought that it hit the front pad first (though that doesn't explain the Hot Spot mark on the bat)... So maybe it would have stood. Anyway, we shall now move swiftly on

DRS would have saved both Vijay and Prior.

I very much doubt Cook would have reviewed the Shammi edge given that no one appealed .

Robson to me is 50/50 at best.

Lets call it 2-1 to england in bad decisions and move on??
