Lefty, dont take it in bitter sense. Its just human nature... And arrogance and banter is the human right of sports fan... Between the comments of yours, yesterday and today, reflects the match position.. Also its not wrong/right to satire England because they also are bit too moralistic, when india were piling runs yesterday,, they were uttering nonsenses like 'oh how generous host we are for welcoming sides with flat pitch ,etc' and the same bunch are now nunned about flat pitches......I have found most England fans and commentators are bit too nonsensically moralist and undeservedly arrogant... If australian fans are arrogant, I can understand but if English fans are then it is undeserved. And if your opponent scores runs, not necessary that the pitch is killling test cricket.

Shiekh - I don't know if the Indian bowlers are managing to get alot more out the pitch. But it did look pretty dead yesterday. Saying that, I just cant imagine the pitch making a dramatic change overnight.

Are the England bowlers just dependent on a pitch which is seaming?
Has thge pitch actually changed overnight?

OR..and the one I'm going with, is its not the pitch at all, its the Batsmen. Confidence is low, they are giving away wickets.

English commentators seem to me to be the most arrogant nowadays.. Earlier I used to think Indian commentators like Shastri were the most arrogant bunches... English commentators like Hussain who was such a mediocre in his playing days now talks as if he was some Ricky Ponting and England in his days were some World beater,, so unnaturally Cocky, if England are getting spanked they say Pitch is flat, Captain not setting right field etc... And when England on the same pitch gets bundled out , they start talking batting technique, very rarely they praise the opponent.... Look so unnatural... Past champions like Warne, Border, Holding, Akram ,Ganguly... These guys sound so humility whereas past sissy like hussain, vaugn unnaturally sound too cocky as if seeking attention.

Im not sure if a result is possible in this pitch. Bowlers will have to be bowled to ground for a result in this pitch.

It would be a shame cause if lords is a gd wicket, both teams bowlers would have lost half their energy from this match. India overall have been a better and disciplined unit. Get this last pair quickly and hopefully shikhar and kohli can score quick runs and get a lead of 350

As an England supporter I find it amazing that Ashwin isn't playing against us rather than Binny.

As for England we're very lucky to only be 105 runs behind with 2 days left having been outplayed for 3 days on this terrible pitch.

I still maintain England's team balance is wrong, we should be batting stokes at 6 and playing 5 bowlers, even if it's 5 quicks.
