Captaincy is ruining one of the finest English batsman in this era...

Let him get on with batting, and someone else wear the armband

You got a candidate...?

Why are the English batsman so back in the crease. Play on the front foot - it's a slow pitch the ball isn't going to trouble you. Both Ballance and Robson need to get forward a little here.

Which is exactly what their tail did...

Habit kav... In normal English conditions/pitch that is the way to play... Now that the groundsman has prepared a flat pitch, they are struggling to adjust... India should win this, England vs spin haven't been that great in the subcontinent.... Although just admit haven't seen these Indian spinners in test action before

Don't know what game you've been watching but both Shami and Bhuvi batted on the front foot playing strokes almost at ease. Robson has already nicked one or two behind on the backfoot.

Today is a day that would have dhoni and many indians very happy. Generally such performances, india are always on the receiving end. 2011 memories rings some bell, when swann and broad used to take england from 160-6 to 350 plus.

Key for india. Somehow pick the wickets by tomorrow with a decent lead like 150 plus. And then bat till tea day 4 and get the lead to 350plus . This is wishful thinking but you never know.

Cook the man for the job, what a laugh. Yet another batting failure. What does it take for this bloke and the selectors to face reality.

You have got to be missing, the match swung like a pendulum.
India started on top, just
Morning session India
A quick succession of wickets, and the match firmly back in Englands
A record last stand to swing it back
And a late wicket to finish the day.

Take away any allegiances... It was a fantastic day of test cricket

Good morning all

Sunny day ahead + flat batting track + India's poor bowling attack + a day totally dominated by the English batsmen.

England to lose 1-2 wickets today and score 300+ runs.
