Brilliant century by Warner. He has come a long way since that Root incident. Very timely too, a week after watching one of his best friends die tragically.

Just awake.. looking at the scores.. India being carted again.. Just accept it.. pointless playing test cricket away from home.

What happened to Clarke?

If Clarke is unable to return in this test innings you probably have to say that India snatch the day with those late wickets

Not really.. india wont get anywhere near the aussie score.

Letting them score at 4 an over for a whole 90 overs is very poor on the bowlers' part but those late few wickets has softened the blow somewhat.

true, the aussies are a very attacking team. Not easy to stem the runs.
Just think the aussies will end up close to 500. India get around 280.. Australia will lead by nigh on 500 themselves on the 3rd innings.
Happened to England to every test down under last time around.
The Adelaide pitch tends to dust and get very dry. all kinds of things will happen with the ball + the stifling heat.. Later on in the game the bounce will become less predictable..
If India wanna get away with least a draw.. Definetly need to score 400+ in their first innings.

I see the Indians went into the test match with a new leg spinner..
Didn't go for Ashwin. Understandable with his record away from home.
I don't think right arm spinners are that great at test level anyway..
I always liked ojha, the left arm spinner.. not sure what happened to him. left arm spinners seem to cause more problems with the different angle.

India made good use of the second new ball.. But they completely wasted the first one with some awful lines.. Kohli went very defensive early on.. Off course, if that was Dhoni, then we'd all be told that it's Dhonis fault and he's to blame for Aussies almost scoring 400.

Honestly am not joking I thought dhoni was keeping wicket.. I wondered why the wicket keeper looked thinner. (though m.s had been working out in the gym) Just realised hes not playing

Afridi are you Dhoni's lovechild you seem to back him all the time? Although I can see why you support him no Pakistani wants to see India do well in test cricket do they hence all the love in for Dhoni

The wicket is very flat. It's a drop in wicket which is made for scoring runs. Aussies need 500 on this track.

Kav,

I have a few indian buddies at work who know a thing or two about cricket and are Dhoni admirers backed up with stats and facts... . The guy is a legend.

Ps- you'd have been the first on here to be critical of the captain if it was the D... As it wasn't your defence is that anyone now supporting D is his "love child"

Poor. Very poor.

Of course he's a legend I haven't said otherwise but you seem to be more fond of him than any other person Indian or not

I've complimented his ability and professionalism many times but have also been realistic and critical of his test match captaincy for many years now. The stats back that up also whatever way you want to dress it up.

Kav,

Slate an Indian - get called a wum.
Praise a legend - fond of him.
Slate DRS - indians don't believe in its accuracy
Bowling tech bans pak bowkers- it's spot on, tech is 100 % accurate

Fekkk me.. Can't win on here sometimes

You know them chat boxes next to live streams online? well I was winding up some indian fans up on there. they easily bite.
Told em.. India shouldn't bother with test away from home.

Arron kept stopping halfway upto the bowling crease.. Told the indian fans he was scared to bowl

England,

India aren't out of this contest yet. It's a flat wicket and if they are to get a result anywhere, it's more likely to come in this test. The loss of Clarke is a massive blow for the Aussies
