You've got to look at the fight stylistically, Canelo is a boxer-puncher/counter-puncher, he doesn't apply pressure and likes to fight at the opponent's pace, that's perfect for Lara, he isn't gonna get outboxed. The way to cause him problems is relentless pressure.

Canelo has struggled against the two best boxers he's fought so far in his career, Trout and Floyd. He needs to apply pressure and cut the ring off if he wants to have any success against Lara, but that's just not his style, he hasn't got the stamina to do it either imo.

Lara wins 9-3 or 8-4, but the judges score it a shutout for Canelo

Kamran - You can't label all fans of a certain boxer just because you don't like him. You've got some good points but sometimes it gets lost in the hostility

derbymanc, good fight imho, Algieri is a good boxer, I've been calling Floyd to fight a good boxer with speed and footwork for a while. I would expect better, but it's alright considering the options available.
